Meh. Hopefully it'll drive better then the one on Shift 2 does.

The amount of
Porsche Cups in rFactor

IS TOO DAMN HIGH !!!

rFactor the complete opposite of Gt5.
that's why I play booth.

I thought you'd be happy with rFactor being the opposite

It was a blast!

Started 9th of 19, soon spun around and was next to last (18th). As I worked my way up the field (12th) and pitted, I was given a drive through penalty which I read as a stop/go. So I got black flagged hehe.

In fact, is there any graphical documentation of what the various symbols represent? I mean, this sign looked like a red light and a green light below, to me that reads as a stop and go. I'm such a n00b.

This thing was a pain to align. Having trouble with extra logos, anyone have suggestions?

Michelin (guess the tires are Michelin), Sparco, NGK, Bilstein, Brembo... maybe even some completely different names like Philips, Harman Kardon, Logitech, Siemens. Just look what you have at home, or look at real cars.

That thing looks awesome.
I'd just Google what the John Wyer Gulf cars had on them besides the big Gulf logos.
If you can't find enough to satisfy you, as previously mentioned, just look around your house and perhaps your bookmarked websites.

I looked at the old John Wyer cars and even the Gulf AMR cars and don't see much sponsorship beyond Gulf and Michelin. And besides, sometimes less is more:

Just installed the GRID mod, and most of the skins appear as a black metallic. Anyone know how to fix this? I had the same problem with an Audi R15 in another mod.

Could be an issue with the skins being saved wrong by whoever created them or they weren't made to work on whatever Directx you have the game running at.

Ahh okay, well it seems to be a bit of a weird problem because I've managed to fix it, in a way. I changed the settings to run DX9, and I don't know whether that caused them to work, but well they show up now.. on the normal version. I use GameBooster too for better performance, and everytime I run rFactor through that, the skins are mostly black. Yet it uses the same shortcut as the normal version of rFactor. So I'm guessing GB is doing something that causes the skins to not show up. Any idea?

Yeah, I wasn't sure since I didn't see any of the distinctive cars on the screenshots and honestly I don't understand the language...

It really is an awesome mod! Voltaic was trying to get a server going but couldn't get it to work...
