REALLY want to try out a motion sim rig some time.
Was able to get in one WAY back at the NY Auto show one year. But I was too small so they had to virtually turn off the motion so I didn't get thrown out. Hardly remember it other than that.

I tried very briefly the Vesaro rig with a 4DOF D-Box setup on Sebring this year, wish I could've run some good laps but they where limiting everyone to 2 laps on Infineon on the R18 using SimRaceway, so one of my least liked tracks on a new car on a sim I don't really know. I really didn't have enough time to enjoy it...

Motion's rigs are a blast! Used one at an autoshow a few months back with Rfactor and it was a lot of fun!

It sucks when the race demos do that. iRacing was at Indy last year for the 500, and they were doing Indy cars at IMS. Everyone was crashing, and a lot of the wheels were in poor shape. They were going to have races with Indy car drivers and I think i set close to the top times so I can win a race with he drivers, but we didn't go the next day be abuse it was Saturday. We went to watch Midgets, Formula Mazda, and USF2000 at Orielly Motorsports park the night before the 500.

I think the GT1 can pretty much be ruled out, the mirrors appear to be door bound and not bonnet bound.

Seen that Panoz race in person, it doesn't look as bad as you'd think, but it still wasn't very attractive. It sounded great though!

I'd put a lot of money on that being a Porsche, too. Well, a 911 anyway, not necessarily made by Porsche (Ruf, etc.). The problem is that the 911 shape hasn't really changed all that much recently (since the 60's) so it could be somewhat tricky to pin down exactly which one it is. It looks too short and too high to be the GT1, though, as well as what RACECAR said about the mirrors. Also the roof is smooth with no obvious hump for the intake. There's no indication of any canards either.

Looking forward to Spa tomorrow! Are you guys planning on runing some laps tonight?
