Hey sorry guys but do any of you know if the F1 2009 FSONE SP can be used online? If not do you know if there's a MP version for download?
Thanks 👍

I think you can use any for online play, but can't swear to it. The League editions simply equalize the performance of all the cars.

It is a pretty popular mod, I've seen many FSONE servers while scrolling down to the Enduracers servers.

Any other links for the Endurance Racers 2.1 mod? The link Jav posted won't let me download it..

Hey guys, I need a new .zip program for my mods. What is a good .zip program to use for free? The win.zip free trial is done for me.

Hey guys. Anyone have the DRM 2.0 Revival installed? I keep crashing right when i click the series on the selection menu.

I've had it, no issues ever. Also, I use the CTDP F1 2006 mod launcher, this allows you to select what mod to start rFactor in. It also happens to be a great mF1 mod.

If I join an online server and they're running a track I don't have downloaded can I still race on it?

No, you must have the same track. In fact, if your mod has custom add ons it will display a mismatch and boot you.

Has everyone moved on to Rfactor 2? I noticed this thread had been pretty quiet over the last few weeks, and thats pretty unusual. Loving Rfactor though, thanks for the recommendation guys, best $40 ever spent? Possibly. I'm always up for a race if anyone wants to.

New to RFactor here. Liking it and hating it. Love some of the track mods available especially the hillclimb and downhill tracks. Hate the way the ffb and cars feel. You need to install plugins to make the ffb work ie, "realfeel and leoffb". But then some cars are all wrong. The user interface is frustrating to me. The lack of non-race cars is disappointing.
The "gameplay" aspect is a pain and would in retrospect keep me from buying RFactor again.
However, get in a car that "works" on a track you like and it is intoxicatingly fun.
What buying Rfactor has really shown me is both how good GT really is and how much more it (GT) could be.

Rfactor can be really stupid like that. It's not the game most of the time, rather the mods that you add to it.

A brilliant mod, actually made by a race sim developer, is historx, be sure to try that if you ever get a chance.

The forcefeedback also depends on how you set it up and what strength it's set to from within the mod. Realfeel is not for me and can usually be more of a hassle than a benefit.

Wait! You're using the default cars? You need to check out the many mods out there!

Don't get it wrong, this is afterall a sim racing game unlike Gran Turismo and all. There were a couple of production cars for download but most of them are terribly made like the BMW M6 I downloaded a couple of years ago. All of the mods weren't made by ISI themselves, but some other independent which varies. Some can make a good one, some can't. Usually every mod have their own FFB, use it. If you download another FFB together with the FFB provided in the mod, it will be wrong. Obviously.

You just have to look for good developers mate.

Hi guys hoping some of you can help me probably same as cc570
Rfactor is a good game just so frustrating I just can not for life of me get the wheel to talk to me its not at all life like I watch all thease videos of people flicking their cars around were I have to drive with precision or I just crash or spin.

I recently bought a DFGT & a rseat cockpit and would love to be able to use it more but I feel like burning them moved from GT5 still play it but just so many issues with it why I turned to pc sims . I will admit I have around 30 mods installed but I can only really say 5 or 6 work well. That's F1 1985 F1 1988 F1 classic 1969 Endurance racing and porsche 2007.all the rest are undrivable and even ones that do work I wouldn't say I could do more the 3 laps without spinning or crashing. Or is it because I am trying to drive like a real car? I have owned a lot of cars and always driven hard and used my last car was a 400Hp impreza but with cash flow and driving cost going up I coulnt continue running it hence I tried sims to get some kicks.

Basically I need help getting this wheel to work correctly or I am just going to build a track car. So any help I really appreciate it :)

Is this the mod you need a copy of GPL to run?

I don't really understand this. If I have realfeel and leo's in my plugins and a mod has its own ffb do I need to remove the plugins I have installed?

You just have to look for good developers mate.
Any recommended sources?

You can disable the plugins without completely removing the installed plugins, but I'm not sure where and which key on the keyboard. Hopefully someone else will chime in on this!

Have you tried rFactor Central? Another one is No Grip Racing.

Some of the mods there are good, but some are not. Read the comments and if it receive good views, I'm pretty sure it's a good one. I haven't been downloading mods for a long time already so perhaps some of us here can help you more on that 👍

rFactor 2 is just a beta at the moment and I don't think many use it real often. Beign a beta it's got quite some bugs and it takes a lot of resources to get it to look acceptable, with that beign said the FFB is awesome up there with iRacing's and the physics are pretty good, way better than GT5 but more forgiving than iRacing. Right no rF2 is a diamond in the rough.
Here's where we go for rFactor racing, you should check it out! 4hrs of LeMans coming up:

It might be, I'm not sure. I didn't exactly get it by normal means ;).
