S license test with the GT40

I need to take a valium to even attempt this.....I can't suck this bad it's just that you have to drive on the ragged edge and I have this nervous disorder thing.....I'm going to pass it today or put my head thru the wall.....

i got it on my seconds try - just go srive a GT40 around on various tracks (in professional, if you can) and, after 5-10 days (GT days, that is) you won't even have to think about the test .

Hmmm... this one was pretty easy for me, but then I really like the track, and the GT40. I did however have major problems with almost all of the others (especially Cote d' azure)
What helped me was to do the whole track over and over, concentrating on specific areas each time. Then once you get it down, get everything together at once, and make a go of it.

2nd try? Yeah, I'm going to just drive my yellow one around for awhile to master the car....I like how it drives, it's just certain parts of that track backwards just ***** slap me......(1st corner)

And you can use the demo provided by the game it will race your best ghost so you can see where you messed up...

The best thing you can do is watch the demo run over and over again after you have done a full lap yourself..To see where you can gain time

You have probably done this allready but i find it helps

You may think that these times are impossible to get
But even the demo runs are'nt perfect

What i did was watch for where the demo car would sort of mess up and try and utilise the mistake

There is at least one sometimes two errors made on every track

It's intensely frustrating, because you almost always mess up at the first corner, and then the lap's blown, and you just don't feel like you're getting anywhere with it. All I can offer by way of advice is to brake earlier than you think you should have to, because the GT40 is an old car, and its braking distance is not the best.

Oh sweet bronze!!! I beat it by like half a sec. My left thumb is killing me from two hours on that first corner......ok, now for the Viper on Laguna Seca......

i got a bronz in this after crap loads of attempts but now its s-8 that is killing me

Maybe that is kinda stupid but i found all licenses quite easy , i have started the game and beatem them all in first try (sometimes i had to do 2 attempts if i accidentaly screwed something up)... Just take the corners "slow in-fast out" (just as i have to teach at real life driving schools in here , but sometimes pepole don't get it ) and don't drift...

Slow in Fast out? Well duh....it's just a little hard when you know you can't ever go too slow or you won't get a good enough time and you have like 600 ft/lbs of torque.....anyways, I got the Viper test done without too much trouble, when I passed it I did a power slide around the whole first corner! It was so funny, after that it was all business.

I honestly dont know what the GT40 has going for it? Road or Race versions. It oversteers like a pig with a nice helping of throttle.
