If rFactor can get it right there's no excuse for PD

The best sound they could use currently is the redbull one. It's pretty close at lower revs, unless they've recorded the lotus. Orrrr maybe the redbull sample is from the lotus.... Much thought and confusion!!!

If they get the Junior sound and lower the pitch, it'd be very close.

No it isn't. 4 cylinders just doesn't sound like 6. The standard and fan cars, though, are close.

The best sound they could use is an accurately sample version of the real car. Sticking the Redbull sound in there will be lame although I'm sure a lot of people will be happy that at least it's loud and raspy, if inaccurate.

It also says that the same guy owns James Hunt's McLaren, the one that's in Forza 5.

In that case, would PD need to get in touch with any manufacturer to get any car in the game? They could just go down the street and ask someone with a ferrari to scan it and put it in the game.
For some reason, I don't think it works that way.
Maybe with modded/shop cars like the Mine's models or the GT AWARD winners that would be the case but with anything else, well, where's our Porsches?

It's not the guy, it's the Manufacturer that causes the licensing problems.

They might overlay aspects of other car soundtracks to make it sound a bit more symphonic.

To be honest, I only care so much about the accuracy of the sound of it, as long as it sounds nice and powerful.
