Should i get the japanese version or asian version?

Is there any differences between these 2 versions besides langauge? I don't know either language and i'm getting this for my US ps2. Which one do you recommend? And do they have the same soundtrack?

They are the SAME game, one is local to mainland asia, the other from Japan, both are in Japanese....and neither will play on your default US PS2.

This isn't even funny now. Not only do you not get it. You do even make an effort to try to get it.

They won't work on your US PS2 unless it is modded. There is no difference besides the language, and no, there is no Japanese in the Chinese version.

The Chinese one is cheaper because it goes to places like Lik-Sang at wholesale, whereas the Japanese version has to be imported and marked up.

No, I run a far larger site than this with far more members and it runs a thousand times faster. Whenever we need more servers, we have to stop the search function or it gets like it is here.

Unfortunately GTPlanet doesn’t have the liberty of simply getting more servers. GTPlanet is privately run out of Jordan’s own pocket and members here do what they can to support him and the site. This is completely different to the more commercially orientated Gameplanet. Gameplanet has its own store and caters for a far, far more broad gaming audience. This I can imagine helps out Gameplanets own web, mail, gaming and other servers.

GTPlanet just simply doesn’t have the financial resources to suddenly go out and buy another server as that is at Jordan’s own discretion, the server that GTPlanet is currently using is perfectly fine. Sure it suffers from the odd hiccup now and then but this is perfectly understandable unless you have absolutely no clue how GTPlanet operates.

This site runs slower than Tearfund's, which I'm sure you can imagine is, er, swamped at the moment.

My point was that extensive use of the search function is probably killing it, not the number of posts.

Yup, it's common knowledge that switching off the search-option is a number one candidate for speeding up servers and saving bandwidth on surf-intensive sites.

And it is also common knowledge that the average moderator often get's frustrated with the average lazy user. Happens all the time on every board.
