I am picking up my brand spankin new Pontiac Grand Prix GTP coupe today. Straight off the truck, never even test driven.

First new car. Good times!

cool. Our family's only bought new car was a '80 Corrola, the other 20 or so cars owned were used...

Maybe when the RX-8 and 6 come out my dad might look to get one.

Thanks everyone. It is a beautiful piece of machinery, I must admit. Got some giddy up too. I am hoping to post some pics as soon as I can borrow a digital camera from a friend. Gotta love that new car smell too.

Congratulations. It feels good when you get in your new car for the first time. It smells so deliciously new then

Yep 'new' cars do all sort's of 'moving around' before they are delivered. I did some part time work at a local body repair shop during my time at college. Most of the painting jobs where from local car dealerships. Load's of cars get minor damage during there journey from the factory.
I must have driven 100's of new cars (quite a distance to) before there owners had even seen them.
