Why would you need a TV tuner? I'd bet 95% of the time the its hooked up to a TV anyways....the only thing i could see it used for is if you could record programs onto the hard drive, like a TIVO or somthing

Did you see that it was hooked up to a Plasma TV? Obviously not. Plasma TV's don't have TV Tuners, so they rely on either cable boxes, VCR's, DVD-RAM devices, or PSX.

I just wish that I could get the PSX and the TV shown with it for $300...:(

I've read somewhere that you can't use the Playstation memory cards for this "PSX," only these Memory stick things that Sony makes....

WHY!??! :irked:

You can't use Playstation 2 memory cards in a normal PSX, or memory sticks either. You have to use normal PSX/PSone memory cards. However, you can use normal PSX/PSone memory cards in a Playstation 2, but you can't save PS2 games on a normal PSX/PSone memory card.

Shannon........Read what this thread is about...This new system is called the "PSX" since PSX was an unofficial abbreviation for The original Playstation...THIS one is called PSX..And it says PSX on the side of it....And he is saying that in this NEW PSX you can't use any other types of normal PS2 or PS1 Memory cars..You have to use memory sticks..But more than likely they will make some sort of adapter so you can put your information from your old memory cars..to the PSX's Hard drive.....

P.S. Is there any new word on Sony's idea to base PS3's memory system on a Internet based Server
