Not like there's any reason to join. Its just an education site for retail partners. You can get discounts but you can't abuse them to the point that you get tons of cheap stuff.

http://www.3point5.com/ is the same thing but for other types of retailers. All it is, is a way to train salespeople on how to sell the product better, with the incentive that if you learn enough about it, you get a discount on certain items.

yep i am a part of such a retailer. however, its still invite only.

im a member of intel's and microsofts RLPs, and they have decent deals now and again. a while ago microsoft had Windows 7 (pro edition i think) for $15 (£10). intel has a deal on for the i7 3930k for $230 including shipping (regular $630)

microsoft and playstation frequently (re:always) have deals for cheap ($10) games as well. theyre not new games, but not all of them are bad either.


some RLPs are great, some, not so great. on intels, i just ordered a nice waterbottle and pen/stylus for free. okay, not the greatest freebie, but it took me 10 minutes of quizzes, and its FREE (including FedEx shipping). playstations RLP has everything on it free, but they get you on the $10 shipping charge per item.

i was hoping that Razer might have some deals on gaming equipment such as this, but i cant tell without signing up first. and as far as gaining access to a forum for geeks, i wouldnt need that as there are enough geeks here. (no offense intended gtp, i consider myself a geek, albeit a geek thats looking for a good deal as im not a rich geek)

I did something similar, a few years back about windows 7.

I ended up getting a free copy of Windows 7 Ulitmate.
