10-4 5P cars are only transferable to Arcade mode!

So you Gun Jumpers will have to start with the 10-15k credits like the rest of us.

I do wonder if the preorder CE\SE\gamestop car packs will be Arcade only also...

Erm, we'll still most likely get 100,000cr transferred from GT5P like we did in previous games. Cars are supposedly for arcade and since there are no credits in arcade....
And no, to the last part.

I usually go japanese (honda or something), then keep that one car, do every event i can until i can afford a mustang :P

If cars/credits from GTPSP and GT5P aren't transferable for GT mode then I will probably start off with a Benz 190E Evo II like I did in GT4...

Once GT5 comes out, these forums for first few days will be a ghost town. Later people will come back to organize online matches, and share car setups. Photo mode and replay videos. And by the end of the month, a GT5 DLC wishlist and GT6 wishlist.

I voted a japanese car, but in a 2nd thought I have always starated all GTs with a Japanese car, I think it is time for a change, maybe I start with whichever license price car or get some european car not a good as the japanese ones. The ease choice is the integra, but with that car it is very easy to win sunday a clubman races. We`ll see, I am so excited, I really do not know what will I do when I get my copy.

If is still in, I'll get the '88 accord. Figure my starter car in GT5 (and also GT4) should be the same as my starter car in RL.

GT1 - EG Civic SIR-II
GT2 - '86 MR2 1600
GT3 - Chrysler PT Cruiser
GT4 - VW Lupo 1.4
GT5:P - Alfa 147 TI
GT PSP - Peugeot 206

I'm tempted to go for an FTO this time round. However, It may be subject to change depending on the amount of starting credits granted.

What made you choose the PT Cruiser?

Probably the mighty EK9 :)

I'm usually lured to the Mazda RX-7 Infini III, but I'm waiting to see the used car dealer list in person.. I'm hoping something else pops out at me.

I'll go for one of those new 2.0 litre MX-5's (provided they have one available). 170 Bhp for a ~1000 Kg car is great. If they have my own car, a 10AE version, I'll take that one instead :)

I really hope PD releases info on how much Cr. a player starts with in the US, Euro and JP versions. As well full car list with pricing. That way we can already plan our first buys.

I think this time I will go with cheap FWD car, probably used Civic, or VW. I always picked and perfected RWD as first buy in GT4, so this time I will make a change.

10,000cr most likely. GT2 had 10,000, gt3 had 18,000 and gt4 had 10,000. However if what Amar suggested is true, that you never have to touch a standard car to bea the game, it might be more to purchase a cheap premium.

OT, so you're the one who took calcifer on PSN. Damn you.

Tough question. I think it will be a toss between american and european. I want to really try out the ferrari or aston martin so right now leaning more towards euro.

Mitsubishi Evolution III GSR , Or a Toyota Supra 3.0 Turbo A , Mitsubishi Eclipse ?? , Honda Civic EG6 , EK , Honda Integra DC2 Type R 98' is probably the best overall unde 10,000 credits on all the GT's so far except on GT4 with the EVO III thats creams everyone from the used car lot ,

people overlook the mitsubishi 3000gt twin turbo vr4 very much.. so im going with that! hopefully its a premium, but if not ill start with it still! lol, then work my way up to the GTR( definitely a premium!)

I went with a AE86 in GT4, and a Integra in GT5p, I'll probably use the licence award cars till I really need a new car, I voted Japan just because of previous trend of using a japanese car, but I'm looking to mix it up with a european or american starter car.

I think the fact that it weighs more than a full size Dodge Intrepid or about as much as Cadillac DeVille might have something to do with that.
I used to be into those back then in GT1&2. Fast cars, but not my cup of tea anymore.

No idea, the last GT I played a carreer in myself was GT2... picked a second hand Supra. Probably will do the same now, something rear wheel drive, something that gives satisfaction when winning a race.

No real preference for country or region though, if it works I'm fine with it. Though in general I prefer Euro designs :p
