Yeah it was "Austrailia". Been changed now. :)

lol, just covered the extra 'i' thing on the last page. We need NEW news if this is what the thread is coming to......

Talk about nit picking. Just because there was an Extra I doesnt mena anything. Im sure you have had many typos before too.

I think that's about the 4th time the thread title has been edited. Australia is only the largest island in the world anyway. I doubt people have even heard of it let alone know how to spell it.

It's not as famous as eyeland.

Their shouldn't be a space between 'fake' and '?'........j/k:crazy:

NA
Even the orriginal post the pic came from looks like it's staged.
First a trollbait statement about it not being pressed currently, followed by a few vauge hints, followed quickly with a third party ”he's got street cred“ supporting post. Then all goes sillent. Probablly because he goes off to photoshop it.
Naturrally, the next day, when he has his fake ready, there is another guick exchange, where his supporting poster just happens to be present. I guess he waits by the comp all night just watching the thread, for moral support or something.
The guy waits a few hours to see if anyone is buying it, and when it appears not, he posts the pic, along with some bs explaining why that's all he has for proof, promises more later, and promptly dissapears when the whole thing goes viral, and gets out of his control.
Nevermind all of the other flaws mentioned, the absolute biggest flaw is that he used the prduct number for an old game, and not 98114 (gt5), or 98272 (gt5CE), has listed by sony (got those from their sonystyle site.).
Regardless of what the real disk looks like, that alone shows his is not a working copy.

People here tends not to comment each others posts. Just the ones that say silly things about Pirates and typos.
But here we go with your comment NA; well, I think you got your point of view. I work in the Photoshop industry for about 11 years now, and analysing it carefully in Photoshop it doesn´t show any evidence that the image is fake.
I know a bunch of guys would give their life that this is a montage.
But I go for: It´s a real picture.

Cheers

I'm convinced it's a real picture. My doubt is whether it's a picture of the real disc or some disk he made.

Right now I'm leaning towards that disk being the best hoax I've ever seen. It's about time someone tried hard enough to make something convincing.

This may not mean anything, but does anyone that has seen the picture notice that the wheel on the disc isn't centered? Once again, it may not mean anything but you never know.

Its called graphic design.

That is like saying the reliant robin is a fake car because it has 3 wheels.

It was designed that way. Just because games like modnation racers and midnight club 3 had the wheel centered doesn't mean they all do.

Thank god they changed the title. Australian was spelled wrong and the spacing between the words were just messed up.

Thank God they changed it! Now the World can live in peace! Thank you very much, oh my God!

*This kind of post makes me sick!

WELL..., when we finally do get the game, can somebody post a thread saying "Ha ha, I knew teh picture was real ! " ..Seriously, in my opinion, this disc being at large may have been the reason for the date of the new GT5 launch party in Madrid. Up and till this pic, we were being told nothing by Sony.

And if it isn't human, how do we know it's even a carbon-based lifeform, eh?

Hahaha So funny I almost dying here. It´s too clever, too funny!
They all deserve a prize!

This is GT planet, apparently you actually get in trouble if you forget a period or structure a sentence wrong, it's pretty funny.

Having standards isn't that funny, it just makes the forum look tidier and helps those for who English is not their first language.

Just discovered this image of a full GT5 cartridge complete with manuals from a google search. http://i.imgur.com/mQlGt.jpg

Wow, If people already have this game then they should make the realease date in a week or two. This is straight BS. Then again if this game came out 2-3 years ago, I'm sure most of us wouldn't be playing it anymore.

So I guess that first disc was legit. We have to be close now then! I'd expect them to announce a release date early this week if shipments are already going out, and real copies are already in Europe and Australia.

Just so you know, Sony actually prints games in Australia so we don't know for a fact that any have or have not been shipped out yet. As the story goes he stole it from the factory he works at.

Am I the only one bothered by the fact that the center of the rim isn't in the center of the disk?
