Someone actually started using that Read poster in an actual library.

This is framed up at the Wayne County Public Library in Wooster, Ohio, making it the greatest library in all of the United States.

I'm pretty sure this needs to happen elsewhere. Every library needs a motivational Twilight Sparkle! Kids these days don't even bother with books anymore!

Just trying to look at some ponies to get myself in a better mood before going to sleep, and it worked pretty well.

Also, just one more thing, I know it's been said, but you guys are all awesome, and this is the best fandom I've ever even heard of, let alone been a part of.

I'm on the fence whether or not to write a fanfic. I can write narratives well, but I'm still borderline about doing it

I keep mulling it over, but most of the ideas that I feel I could turn into a good story have already been done, and on top of that done in basically the same way I would have done them.

It actually made me stop and think for a little while.

Yep,I got me thinking about pinkie pie,and I have to say that I felt the same way when I saw "The Cutie Mark Chronicles" episode,when they show Pinkie pie's background,which was kind of sad,it was projected to provide that image(the barren empty land of pinkie pie's farm)and I could not stop noticing the expectation that she had towards its relatives about the party,and her initial reaction towards the initial respond from its relatives(deception).

So,pinkie pie can be consider as a twisted character,but her background makes me think about what kind of twisted reactions she could have in different situations,after the series portrait her tolerance limit towards the rejection from other characters(or in this case friends),and her friends response towards that response.

So,conclusion:

Friendship is magic

It actually made me stop and think for a little while.

Actually, I never said anything, but being that I like to analyze things and all, I actually did think about the psychology behind each character. And everything that was said in the picture, I pretty much picked up on. I've never really gotten deep into psychology, but it's always been an interest of mine.
You've just got to love that each of the main 6's childhoods actually had a noticeable effect on how they behave as individuals in the other episodes. It takes serious writing talent to make sure things like that remain consistent, and it's just another reason I love this show so much.



So, I guess I'll just put down what I think about each character as a person.

- Fluttershy was bullied as a filly, but always had Rainbow Dash there to fight her battles for her, so she's very reserved. As well as the pent up anger that was made pretty damn clear in "The Best Night Ever". Almost as if the animals love is the only thing keeping her sane, and without that, she just looses it.

- Twilight found out she was gifted and was encouraged to study so she could use her gift to it's full potential, so of course she enjoys studying, thinking, learning, and having time to herself. As well as her having trouble accepting anything she can't explain("Feeling Pinkie Keen"). She also has a hard time just cutting loose and going with whatever feels right, she almost always feels like she has to do everything by the book("Look Before You Sleep").

- Applejack's extremely strong sense of responsibility to her family, and to her work might be because she still harbors guilt about her decision to run away as a filly, so she feels she has to make up for it by doing anything she can to help her family business, even if it means sacrificing her own health. Shown best in "Apple Buck Season".

- Rainbow Dash, well, she hasn't changed much, but I did notice she is a lot more nervous and doubtful of herself then she use to be. Yeah, she puts on a big show and looks confident all the time, but she seems to always be worried she might fail, and not be able to live up to the expectations of others. Shown best in "Sonic Rainboom".

- Rarity....not sure about her because the "Cutie Mark Chronicles" doesn't explain much of her childhood other than her being obsessed with fashion. She's still just as obsessed and just as eager to impress others as she was as a filly.


Yeah, I just felt like coming up with my own psychological analysis of each character. And in case you're wondering, I was extremely bored when I decided to do this, but it successfully killed 30 minutes. Also, I may or may not be correct in the way I analyzed them, after all, I'm not an expert.



EDIT: Also, when I started this, I had only intended for it to be a sentence or 2 about each character, but once I start typing...well, sometime I find it hard to choose a good place to stop.
Anyway, sorry for the big ass post.
