Yeah, that's why I'm so excited! Been waiting for MLP:FiM on British shores for soooo long! Also, something tells me the TESCO self-service till will be getting used for some 'blind-bag' buying when they arrive in the UK.

I asked someone who, *gasp* doesn't like Trixie (I know, right?) what he thought about it, specifically whether they thought the ending was planted in the "Trying Too Hard" section (because I had been worried about that ever since I wrote it). He said it sorta was, and explained why (and I agree with his explanation), so I'm going to have to figure out what to do with that.

I think you could add "Sometimes if you actually get to know somepony" just before saying "You just may find that they aren’t so different from yourself". I also think that replacing the word "may" with "might" in that sentence would work better as well because "you just may find" doesn't sound right to me for some reason.

Those are the only alterations I can think of really, unless you're already happy with how it is.

Hasbro Apparently Putting Up a MLP Billboard in L.A.

The damn thing is a parody of the Bridesmaids movie poster. The same Bridesmaids which was, in case you didn't know, an R-rated movie. Its like Equestria Girls times a million.

I mean, even if it is just a troll at Bronies' expense, that is still a photo found in the album for the official Facebook page for the show. Its insanely crazy awesome.

I go to comment on that, and *Bam* MintBerryCrunch. Or I go to comment on a story I'm reading or a Drawfriends and *Boom* Jim Prower. It throws me for such a loop I forget what I was going to say.

Well ponynet is quite difficult to catch up,and yep I saw the FB advert/mention as well,and that shows something somewhat positive,and is Hasbro's intention of expanding audiences seriously(or I sincerely hope so).

Having said that,time to critic You Bet Your Flank :

The new changes are welcome,they not only work to introduce more funny gags,but it also works to differentiate from TBoTS,the new changes give more sense of originality,and having it split up gives place for new jokes which I think were appropriate for the story.

I also think that the trip back to ponyville its a welcome change,does make up for the story without cutting stuff unresolved.

Having said that,I think that EP1 is probably ready for submission,is entertaining enough to actually expect for a second episode and has some clever jokes to keep people interested.

Finally,I should point out that it now differs quite a lot from TBoTS,what molested me initially was that it was pretty similar to TBoTS, however doesn't seem to be the case now,I say this due to the plot structure(Trixies revenge with the movie(arguably)/Trixie's revenge with TV program)and the potential gags and jokes that can come up out of that context(manehattan,tense elevator situation,the billboards).

Now the jokes and actual structure of the plot and delivery differs even more
from TBoTS which makes it more original,and the newer jokes makes it funnier
to read and interesting to follow.

I guess that that is all,however I think that the delivery on the EP2 should be revised,not that I have critics against it,but probably it could use some checking and modifications.

Having said that,I found myself in a very difficult situation,because exploring Trixie as a character made me realized of the potential and versatility that that particular character has,I have came up with a concept that might catch on,and I'm actually exploring it,however I don't think that I should write it because I'm not a very good writer.Plot structure and high concept have been settled down for a 13 chapter story(this was running around my head for about 2 weeks,after the first reading of TBoTS)but I don't think that I find time to do it,and it will require a lot of edition to actually be deliver properly.

Man, had an awesome discussion about ponies with an IRL bro today. He says although he likes the program he can't believe his success. I kinda agree with him, after all the show is awesome but who expected this?!

^ The show's success is surprising, but I think the key to it's success lies in how unexpected the quality was, and the fact it's such a bright, fun, and lighthearted show.
It just inspires people to be creative, and then their creativity inspires other's creativity. Case in point, several of the members of this very forum have been inspired by the show itself, and other fans of the show to create their own art, stories, and videos.


Anyway,

I can't come up with words for how I truly feel about this.

If you know someone who isn't willing to accept the show, or give it a chance, show them this video.

I've noticed over the course of the past day or so that a hell of a lot of Trixie stories have gone up. I've counted at least four if you include the one that went up about 5 minutes ago. I'm not sure whether I should take that as a good thing or a bad one. I just have to ask a certain someone something specific, and I'm going to submit Chapter 1 tonight when I get my answer.

I've been fiddling around with Chapter 2 a lot since this morning, and I've been planning on holding Chapter 2 back anyways until I get some responses to Chapter 1.
