16°F, feels like -16°F and the snow/ice/rain is on it's way.

Round two incoming:

I already had snow drifts between one and three feet in my driveway this morning, not to mention the almost 4 feet that the snow plow so lovingly deposited at the end of the driveway.

Edit: Temperature is 0F, feels like -35F!

Today is the first day since 22 Nov with temperatures above freezing with a balmy +0.5 deg C. Only temporary though as -5 deg C is forecasted for his very evening. I have 50 cm 20 inches) of snow on my lawn and several feet in places were the wind has made drifts.

Snow on the way to home of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Looks like some fun ahead for me tomorrow on the way to work. :sly::dopey: --- Randy

It is now snowing. Half an hour, we've got about half an inch. If there is school tomorrow, I will be shocked. Mainly because the school will close if there is so much as a patch of ice on the road. In Canada.

In Canada.

What? That part didn't make sense.

Anyways, as Rykon Zero said, it's been snowing lightly here in Seattle. For the past couple of weeks or so, it's been snowing on and off in some of the suburbs outside of Seattle (those suburbs are generally in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains), but none in Seattle yet until tonight.

It's still above freezing, albeit just slightly, at roughly midnight local time, so I don't anticipate the snow to stick to the ground enough for school to close (especially for the U).

FUUUUUUUUUUU

Hey, pray for me tonight here. I hope we don't get any god damn tornadoes. This storm is going to suck.

SURPRISE!!!!!! Snow that you didn't expect!

It is fun to wake up with snow when they called for little or no accumulation. It is even more fun when some people have less than half an inch, like me, and others have 3+ inches.

Driving my 40 miles to work was an adventure in clean roads, crappy roads, clean roads again. You never knew what was over the next hill.

Well its nice and sunny now.. but.. that will change tomorrow, Tuesday and Wednesday. Great.. now they are calling for 0.1 of an inch to 0.3 of inch of ice in Turn Left City (Indianapolis, IN). I hope it goes more south because I rather have snow to shovel than ice to chisel. --- Randy

Well here in Southwestern Ontario there is no snowfall (well there is still some on the ground), and it is nice and sunny out. A beautiful day :).

Snowpocolypse inbound for Tuesday night, preliminary reports are saying 12"+ in my area and basically the news, weather and general banter on media outlets pretty much all point to one thing...we're 🤬.

I have never had such an overwhelming hatred for winter as I do right now.

Yesterday was awesome. Bright blue skies and warm temps (77). Today, Freezing cold, rain and gray all day. 20 degrees colder than yesterday. That's too much culture shock.

The whole Malaysia were raining yesterday for the straight 24 hours, with some states already got flooded... The same thing goes to Singapore too. It seems like we are going to get more rain today.

lbsf1, you think -5 degrees is cold, well here the warmest winter day is -5 degrees. And tomorrow it is going to be like -15 degrees and there is supposed to be a lot of snow falling tomorrow. That paper route at -5 would be a walk in the park here.

Yes but you are used to that cold. I also don't have a winter coat only hoodies and gloves that don't keep my hands warm.

Have fun in the snow anyway. ;)

-25 (RealFeel of -38) switching to 30 in a few days. Looks like all of February is going to be pretty much like this, too. Melt, freeze, melt, freeze. The roads should be hella fun!

Here we go... Ice on the way to the Brickyard....:grumpy: and all my Northern Indiana and Michigan buddies.. snow is on the way! :grumpy:
