Well, snowing here with no sign of stopping. Must have a couple of inches by now...

Looks like it could be staying throughout the weekend too. Meaning I'm essentially trapped.

Just got even heavier here in surrey. Already about 3 inches and the radar predicts very heavy snow for the next 2-3 hours.

My new phone has broken (already) so I can't take any good pictures since my old phones camera is technically speaking crap.

Here's some crappy phone pics, my SD card has messed up so I can't use my proper camera :( Tempted to drive up sainsburys and buy another :D

A good 5 inches in the garden, I have ventured out over the fields where it's getting on for 10 inches. It's still coming down too.

Just rain in Devon :grumpy: We had a little snow early this morning, but it soon went.

Where I am in Devon it's still snowing and there's already alot of it on the ground, I know it's been snowing since I got up at 6:30 am.

Must just be my area then (Torquay), there's a tiny bit left on the cars but the rain has melted it all.

Drive? Driving isn't possible here. If I wanted to go to Sainsbury's I'd probably have to trek, or get a snowmobile.

Still coming down here, no sign of stopping and it's been below freezing for ages, so even if it does stop it probably won't melt...

We had light snow here for much of yesterday which settled, but only about 2cm by the evening. Right now we've had about 3 inches since 6AM and it's only going to get heavier this afternoon.

I did think it would turn to rain eventually this far west, but it's not going to get above -2°C today.

The roads aren't actually that bad around here, the main ones at least. I decided not to drive but I could have made it if I did. But then I don't drive a rear wheel drive BMW like some ;)

Saw one news report of a man who decided to drive somewhere at 6am.....in a Porsche Boxter. Needless to say he didn't make it and got stuck for 4 hours.

It's been snowing here since 8.30 this morning so the side roads are pretty bad. It's still fairly easy to get around in most cars as the main roads are clear but the traffic is getting bad now due to the sheer amount of drivers being forced to go home before it gets worse.

Do people in Finland have freezers? If they do, that's an awful lot of wasted electricity right there. ;)

I bet your country doesn't grind to a halt in the winter does it?

Just a bit of information. BMW E30's aren't good in 5 inches of snow. I only just managed to get home after getting stuck twice. I would been fine if it wasn't for other people slowing down so I lost all my momentum.

My neighbour has a Bertone Astra and his front splitter was like a snow plow coming down our street.

Been snowing steadly here in Wrexham since around 8, no sign of stopping, my laptop says its -2C but it feels a little warmer..went out to get the paper earlier roads seem fine and the buses are running as normal...

Here be my road and my chariot safe from it's successful journey to work and back.

The one on the right couldn't possibly be a real photo.

It's in Japan like Moglet mentioned.

For me it doesn't matter how much here is cold and snow..It's only once in (every) year

All the snow is pretty much gone now. That's N.C. for you. Freak out when it may snow, everything gets canceled, pretty much no snow falls, and it all melts by the end of the next day.

The snow here has been, frankly, underwhelming. I'll get a picture up soon.

I wouldn't even say an inch on the ground.

Picture I just took while out on a walk bout 30 mins ago, the snow is really not that bad, but then any ammount of snow here is seen as a big deal! The main roads are clear and the side roads have been packed down to a thin layer of icy snow, otherwise Its probably about 6-10 inches at worst.
