There was a tiny bit of snow where I live last night and this morning. But now it's all gone. It's still a little chilly though, sitting at 0c and that'll drop during the night for sure.

I wish it would snow again though, heavily.

Leaving the house at 4.30am for an hour long trek in the snow to work.

Ain't too bad. My road is a dead end though. Only have about 20 cars a day go up/down it. It always seems to have a ton of snow on it for ages longer than the rest of the town.

Snow is still going strong. Haven't got around to uploading my picture yet, will do that when I can.

weather here isn't that bad had light snow since about 4 pm and now there is only about 3-5cm.Anyone else in the England having broadband troubles? My BT infinity connection has lost about 5 meg in a few hours (been rock solid since install).

Here be the view from my window:

A bit off topic but see that scaffolding on the left hand side on story? Pretty sure that's for my room, roof leaked pretty badly so I had to move back home 4 days early for Christmas. I got an email today to say it's still not fixed and I have to move into a temporary room in another block :scared:

We are paying £121 and so far in my flat we have had 3 broken toilets, one of them took 2 days to fix, one of our showers leaked flooding the flat below, my roof leaked once and I was told it was fixed and this time it's leaked badly calling for some pretty major work to be done. Outside of the flat we have had power cuts, the internet has crashed, pipes have burst....

The forecast said the snow would die down this evening and over night. I can see that it's not the case right now, since getting even heavier than it was this morning.

My Virgin broadband dropped down to 10% of its normal speed a few times today. I've had it drop off on the odd occasion, but this time it was different.

Ahh so not just me looks like I will have to ride out the bad weather and hope my connection recovers after its past. For anyone wondering why speed drops so quickly on fiber search DLM ( Dynamic Line Management ) Openreach have it set way to aggressive.

Theoretically sunny. Hovering around freezing and been quite foggy for about 2 days now.

Sunny, hot and light to moderate wind. 26°C pretty hot for winter, hopefully temps will go down for the next week (Friday)

Compared to Australia and Europe, we're in Heaven, Solid :p

Tomorrow (Saturday) the high will be 25F/-4C in the morning and drop off to -3F/-19C with a wind chill of -24F/-31C.

Yay!

'Dat sarcasm, And make sure you wrap up warm for tomorrow 👍 .

Speaking of which the snow's still here from Friday; at least it didn't melt after a single day but I suspect it might have iced up :banghead: .

I will have to ride 6 miles on a bike to work on Monday. After the snow a few days ago the small back roads had snow/ice in the middle and black ice at the sides it wasn't fun :ouch::ouch:

These buildings are useless! Which block are you moving into? Fortunately I haven't ran into any problems, other than the internet going once or twice. But one of my flatmates had the cistern pipe for his toilet leaking onto the floor and into the hallway instead of into the toilet, another had bubbles coming out of his, the flat above mine currently has no hot water, and a guy below us had to move into Story temporarily twice cause his bathroom was getting flooded anytime anyone in the building used any water!

What do you go for; do you ride on the black ice or do you ride on the snow in the middle?

Snow is still falling here, though very lightly. More is due tomorrow morning though. :D

Already checked the weather forecast and there is still another possible snowfall to happen today, but if we don't get anymore today then we're almost guaranteed much more snow tomorrow :scared: .

Took a few shots with my craptastic phone camera earlier while heading to the bank on foot.

*snow shots*

Love all of 'em. I wish we could have this much snow over here, but Monday it is supposed to snow rather heavy, I'll make sure to take some pics on Tuesday. I simply love winter and snow.
