You naughty boy.
It was more than 20°C today.
Thankfully it'll miss me
You should know by now that in the upper midwest, spring decides to happen when it feels like it. Speaking of which, it's supposed to be in the low 60s here until Tuesday
Winter Storm Watch issues for "Blizzard" conditions and at "lease" 8 inches of snow.
Just some idea on snow totals right now.
Weather Channel 18-24"
AccuWeather 12-24" (Pinpoint says around 18")
Going up to 73°F today. Nice.
Is 106°F really hot for a summer day in a tropical country? Damn..
Well, water boils at 100, so yes...
Doesn't water boil at 100C?
So it being 106C is a bit far fetched unless you mean 106F.
If so then 106F is like a normal summer day here almost.
But instead @Northstar and I will get about a foot of snow.
Damn typo! I have corrected it already. Sorry about the confusion. Lol
Should have been °F, not °C... Anyway, thanks for pointing it out, too.
We had a nice summer-like day. I like riding my bicycle in the sun and get some well needed vitamin D.
So running some numbers.
ECMWF model - 13" snow.
GFS model - 25" snow
NEMS model - 20" of snow.
Pretty substantial temperature drop over night into Wednesday. You won't hear me complaining.
Early morning and it is mostly cloudy.
Looks like it shifted farther west.
Just that it also means more of mix/icing.
Also looks like it shifted more in favor of @TB
"Chance of snow 90%. 3 to 5 inches of snow expected. Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph.
Winds NNE at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of snow 90%. Snow accumulating 1 to 3 inches."
After 65 yesterday, I really missed snowblowing. Like, a lot.
I have 1 to 3 inches of snow.
Guess I will get more mix/rain now.
It is not partly cloudy as the screenshot mentions, it is very sunny at the moment.
I guess the snow doesn't like me.
Forecast about 2 to 6 inches of snow.
@TB has 6 to 12 inches of snow.
Now I find it hilarious.
My dad is already hoping that we get only the rain when that gets to Michigan because he put the snowblower in the shed for storage two days ago.
Already 4 or so inches after this "initial" round of snow which was unexpected to be this much.
So now saying about 10" for total here.
It is indeed April in ND....
Today's high was 87. Tomorrow, the high is 61. Saturday, the high is 49. Can it not just stay spring?!
It was 70°F yesterday and the day before. Today is 39°F.
Loving the weather these days. About 0°C during the night and early mornings, then the temperatures rise to about 6-8°C during the day. All with clear and sunny sky and mild to no wind conditions.
Gonna be great to have this for another week, if not more.
I completely agree. We already had a lovely 65 degree day, now we're looking at snow tomorrow.
Not a cloud to be seen. But it feels colder than it looks.
Got lots of snow.
Winds are increasing right now.
Not the best Thursday.
Cloudy, windy, cloudy, windy, cloudy, windy, BLIZZARD.
Well had some lighting,
6 blackouts since 5:18 am.
About 7 inches of snow.
Very sunny cloudless weather. The wind is a little bit chilly though.
Good for vitamin D.
