A surprisingly sunny weekend in the south west of England, reached 22C. Ended up being indoors all day cause of the F1, but this'll probably be the last weekend we have like this for the rest of the year.

It’s September for god’s sakes.

Going up to about 84F today before getting cooler the rest of the week. Sky has looked weird the last couple days from the west coast fires.

2nd day of straight rain, High of 76 today, Low of 60 tonight, rain to end going into the night time hours.

A Hurricane Force Wind Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service for the areas offshore south of Prince William Sound. The areas in pink on the map could see winds to almost 75 mph. The winds are expected to weaken by Sunday afternoon. Though coastal communities won’t see winds near the hurricane force level, winds are expected to gust between 30 to 40 mph near the coast.

Driving home from work tonight and I saw the first snow flurries of the season.

And it's only mid-October.....

It was snowing earlier. :grumpy:

Any snow up there in @TB land yet?

Edit: And now it’s sleeting, not looking forward to the drive home.

A little dusting in the grass but melted on the roads.

Then froze.

A couple of snap oversteer moments on the way to work were less than awesome. :scared:
A skilled driver like you can manage some oversteer.

It's going to be that time again. Short cold miserable days, long nights. It still might be nice if we could have a lot of snow with a blue sky and a beautiful winter sun.

We're supposed to get our first real snow (as in more than a brief flurry) of the season tomorrow, at least whatever accumulates won't last long.

And to think, a week ago it was 75 and sunny.

:guilty:

Not the least bit happy about going from nothing to numerous inches of snow today. :irked:

Although the 1% chance of getting thundersnow again is a plus.

Well, we wound up with about 6" of rather wet snow (the heavy slippery stuff). Hopefully they have the plows out overnight salting roads otherwise tomorrow will be a nightmare. :ill:
