As I sit here between Joey and Philly, I can say that it is snowing very very hard right now. Its not just snowing hard, its drifting too. Not good... God knows if my car will start, although, the good news is that its warm enough where it shouldn't be a problem.

I hate this. I miss the 40-ish degrees and rain.
Dude, that kind of storm is awesome! What I hate is the 35 degree rain. It's cold as balls, cloudy, miserable, and there isn't even any snow. What a crappy winter. Winter is when its 10 degrees and 3 feet of snow on the ground. That's the winter I want. Hell, If I could afford it I'd go north for the winter.

Toronto usually gets fast-and-furious snow storms and it normally subsides after a few hours of snowfall.

It's been snowing endlessly for 24 hours.
I've shoveled both of my driveways (one being very long as it runs parallel to the house) three times this afternoon alone.
And my shovel snapped (it was old school from the 90s with a wood shaft!) and now I can't get out of my driveway to Canadian Tire for a new one.

Yeah it's getting pretty bad out there. So many things were closed today, but not my school. We did close for last Friday's dump. I'll be okay though, I think it'll be closed tomorrow, which is good for me.

We also had some pretty serious snowstorm lightning this evening. I thought it was a streetcar catching a big snag on the line, but there wasn't one around and a split second later, everything shook hard.

It's snowing here again. This wasn't in the forecast, but a strong windstorm/warm front is about to push through, so I suspect we got some rapid cooling ahead of the front, and it's just cold enough to snow here. It's the wet, sloppy stuff, and it's starting to blow in sideways...

Seems like you guys are getting all your snow when we aren't. The first time, we didn't get anything. Then it was raining out here when you guys got little flakes and now there's nothing falling but quite a bit on the ground.

Figures Seattle would get all the snow the year I leave.

It was about 30c today, beauuuuuutiful for cricket training. Hopefully it will be nice Saturday aswell. :)

We got hammered last night, there is at least a foot of snow on the ground if not more. Everything is shut down today...except Oakland University, for some reason I still have school even though every other college does not. It's supposed to be 30 and sunny today which means snow blindness for all!!!

Its decidedly meh-worthy up here in Grand Rapids. It stopped snowing around midnight last night, so it allowed for ample cleanup time unfortunately. The city/urban schools had class, and yes, all of the colleges were open as well. But, anyone outside of Grand Rapids had a snow day... Bonus for my siblings and the kids who live in my neighborhood.

It says its about 25F right now, but it feels warmer than that outside. I think the lack of wind, just a general calm, makes the world look like a decent place with all that fresh snow out there. Walking across campus this morning at 8AM without anyone else out there, it was just beautiful... The fresh snow, the quiet but audible stream that runs through the campus, light breaking through the trees. Its just incredible!

I may hate the winter with every fiber of my being, but mornings like that are what make me happy to live in Michigan and to go to school at Aquinas.

Sunny and 15°C during winter time. It should be 10° colder but I'm not complaining. I think that the earth has shifted a couple off degrees.

It was 80 yesterday, and will be 80 later today. Not clouds and no wind. After temperatures in the high 50's for the past three weeks, it's a welcomed sight.

It snowed...again. This is the snowiest winter I remember in a really long time.

In Northamptonshire and surrounding areas its been quite warm lately, quite clear skies.

Clouds have been fascinating me lately, trying to fathom how big and highup they are and how awesome they look from the top etc.

:)

It's 0F but feels like -34F thanks to a 30+mph wind. Looks like I'm staying inside for yet another weekend with the kids.

It's weird what a few hundred miles does. Of course, you guys get that lake effect snow all the time, but here we've only had one decent snow at about 4 inches, and besides that we've spent the majority of the winter above 30 degrees.

It has been wet here for a long while, and this afternoon we had a cold snap come in and put down about an inch or two of snow. So, the road was pretty much a sheet of ice covered with the powder... Not safe at all. It took about twice as long to drive home tonight, and we ended up going past a really nice 330ci that had spun off into a HUGE snowbank. My guess is that the insurance bill won't be cheap on that one...

We're due for some chilly temps the next few days. It'll be 6F tomorrow, about 16F on Monday, and God knows what after that. One wishes spring would come a bit sooner!

I live on the wrong side of the state to get lake effect snow. And speaking of snow we probably got two inches again tonight and tomorrow it's supposed to be -20 with the windchill.

-18F with a wind chill of -45F and a high today of -10F. :nervous:

It's cold out, like really really really cold. The temperature is 3 but with the windchill it feels like -25. The winds are also blowing quite strong, upwards of 50mph at times. It also snowed about 2 inches last night so there is blizzard like conditions with the blowing snow. I went out to shovel of the drive way and after being outside for like 5 minutes I gave up.

Its really odd over here at the moment (in the midlands)... its like turned to summer overnight! OK it could be slightly warmer (its about 14-16) but it isn't exactly cold and its like all day sunshine for the past 3 days :)

I hope it lasts for a while, makes coursework more enjoyable because you can look out the window or do it outside in the garden!

I'm still at -15 with a wind chill of -39 and I have to go outside and snow blow. Now would be a good time to dig out the overalls and mask.

It's going to be 15°C today (59 F). The nights are still freezing cold though, brrr :nervous:

This is wierd, the world is supposed to be getting warmer, but we're having temperatures as low as 20c in the middle of summer. We haven't had anywhere near 40 for ages. :boggled:

Today was pretty nice at about 25c. :)
