Quarter of an inch of snow stuck to the ground, though about three times that actually fell today. Looking at more off-and-on snow crap through tomorrow. Fun fun; all I've got to say.

Raining steadily this afternoon, went for a drive and it was pouring for a while... then it just went sunny :odd:

Looks like that butt-kicking is right on schedule. Normally I wouldn't be worried about it, but when your wife has the potential of getting a mandatory 24 hour shift because people can't make it in to work... Yikes.

Yikes for her, that is. I'm used to not seeing her for more than an hour a day on the weekends as it is.

Still bone dry down here in Burien. Maybe that'll come down here later.

But it's 36 degrees, so it probably wouldn't stick if it did.

And thats awesome, I dont want to be living in Air cond all day.

Yeah, it's not too bad, but i still like it better when it's warm, like 30C. We just got a new pool for Summer and we've barely had a chance to use it yet. :indiff:

 Typical Melbourne.

Yep. My wife is stuck at work...

Anyone want to trade (weather, not wives :P) with me?

Holy god, -50?!?!?! That's a bit much. It's just raining here and the temp is 38. Supposed to be in the mid 40's tomorrow with about a half inch of rain. Honestly I'm liking this wet, rainy, semi-cold winter so far. I just hope we don't get blasted with cold and snow any time soon.

Here's the forecast for the next five days down here in South Texas:

Seems like I brought Michigan weather back to Seattle with me. We have about 2 inches and the roads are completely covered in ice. Now I just need to figure out a way to get the car out of the driveway for a little drive. And it's not supposed to get above freezing in the next week.

Pretty fun stuff huh TB? My car is surrounded by a 4' snow drift, but luckily I don't have to go anywhere.
Looks like it's clearing up for you now, isn't it? Or are you back in Wahp? I know what you mean about the drifts, too. I have spots where I can still see grass and 3 feet away is a 4 foot drift - that I'm going to have to snowblow later. Super!

No, I'm down here in Wahp. Back home it's sounds like it's about the same type of stuff as over here right now. Radar shows the snow is cutting out a bit in the central part of the state though.

I just checked again and now we're at -57°!

I bet my mom and dad are happy they're in Georgia for the winter...

It's been snowing lightly for most of the day, so everything is white, but there isn't much on the ground. I'll be venturing up to Bellevue later today, so we'll see how the Eastside fared. Blizzaks have been deployed :).

This just scrolled across the bottom of the TV - Interstates and highways are closed, no travel is advised in the county, a concert was canceled, the mall is closed, as are the grocery stores and presumably the schools tomorrow. Good day to just stay inside and watch football. 👍

We've also added another tick - we're now at -58.

I wonder if I'll have the day off tomorrow...

Good day to just stay inside and watch football. 👍
Which Sunday between September and January isn't a good day to just stay inside and watch football? ;)

A good bit of snow finally rolled through here a couple hours ago, and put down an inch of the fluffy stuff. Now the skies to the east are clearing, and the cold is fast approaching. It may only be an inch, but it ain't going anywhere this week :).
