I assume like any good midwesterner, you're going to stand in your garage and watch the weather if the sirens go off, right? Because when we get a tornado warning, the first thing I do is open up my garage and stare out at the horizon and say something like "that sky doesn't look good".
Exchange garage door with patio door. Other than that, spot on.I assume like any good midwesterner, you're going to stand in your garage and watch the weather if the sirens go off, right? As a weather nerd, that's impressive. In one of the weather groups I'm apart of, someone posted this picture of what it looked like from the ground:
Buh-midge-eeBemidji (how do you even say that?)
Another visual representation of the storm.Look like they ended up confirming it was a derecho, which is by far scarier than most tornadoes in my opinion since they're huge, sustained, and go on for a really long time.
I hope your aircon is working well! This summer has been unusually cool in the UAE, I’ve never seen nighttime temperatures dip to 29°C, especially in mid-July.

You’d be surprised how many homes in the tropics don’t have electrical air conditioners.I think its mandatory to have it in the UAE. Unless you like being in a sweat lodge.
