Well, this morning I ran into two types of people, and Joey basically pointed them out.
1) The scared to death people that over-react and cause an accident.
2) The fearless people that get reckless and cause an accident.
On the interstate I was behind a van and I needed to get over. We were going slightly faster than the right-hand lane and I had the time to wait until I passed the car next to me and had a huge hole. Right before I could get in the van in front of me slams on his brakes. The car I was attempting to pass passes me and I have to rely on the kindness of another person to allow me in. When I get over I see there is no one in front of the van that would have necessitated his brake slamming. Then as I start to pass the van that I was behind he turns his turn signal on and wants to get in in front of me. I already learned that lesson and refused to yield. He was able to get in behind me.
Then after getting off the interstate I was on a residential road heading toward the office. Two vehicles up was a Blazer doing the 35mph speed limit. Just behind him/in front of me was a four-door Focus. On a double yellow line, in a curve, he whips out and floors it to pass the Blazer. After going through two stops signs and a speed hump we were right behind him again. He was being an idiot to gain nothing.
