Sleet/snow right now, they are saying an inch of ice by tomorrow morning. Then 4 inches of snow through out the day tomorrow...I want to know what happened to my 50 and rainy looks-and-feels-like-England weather that was going on earlier today. This is just the same old February Michigan crappy weather.

60 degrees flood warning tornado watch for cincy area...gatta love south western ohio february weather

At least you're only getting a little bit of snow, Joey. We're due for 10 inches by the end of the day tomorrow (if I did the math right), not to mention the freezing rain we're having right now. I hate this kind of stuff, the last two days were actually quite nice with the 35F and misty weather.

Fingers crossed that in two weeks time spring will be evident. It peeked its head today, and I was very excited!

The rain was a bit of a surprise. it looks like it'll be winter for the next week and a half, with snow straight through. I guess we're supposed to get below 10 again this weekend.

Only one day I think... The rest will hover right around the freezing mark, give or take about 2F... I just want it to hover in the 40's more often!

Meh. I like it better when it's in the mid to low 20s. With the humidity, it ends up feeling much warmer then. Today seemed much colder than previous, snowy days yet it was raining.

It’s hovering in the 40s here… at night. :D (And looks like this is the last night for that.)

It's been pretty cold down here, 20 C (In the middle of summer :scared:) If this is what the rest of our summer's going to be like then i can't imagine how cold it's going to get in winter. It would be cool to see some snow for the first time though if it got cold enough. :)

It's about time, too! We haven't had a 'warm' night in over a month. The days will be sunny and clear, also, which hasn't happened much in the last month. Yesterday was nice, but too cold, but tomorrow will be a lot warmer, with the following day after that even warmer.

77 on Friday!? Bring it!

I was pretty disappointed after being woken up at 6 AM to some noise-maker machine (presumably a snowblower or sidewalk sweeper thing) and walking out of my dorm to maybe a half inch of snow. Really. Who does that?

At least it's snowing now, so we might have something by the end of the day.

We got about 5" last night, plus an inch of ice. It's sort of raining/snowing/sleeting right now and we are supposed to get 8" tomorrow. The roads are a mess.

It's really coming down now. My sweatshirt was covered in snow by the time I got to the dining hall and quite wet. Looks like there is a pretty solid snowstorm coming through with a patch of rain in the middle that should be hitting here any time.

It's awful out, it's snowing really hard and the latest report is 12" by tomorrow...that's a helluva lot of snow. As I said in another thread I managed to get the Cooper stuck while pulling into my driveway. I took a picture to not only show the car but how bad the weather was.

It's snowing pretty hard here on and off. But hey, at least the snow looks good.

I'm also wondering if it's a bad thing that I am the #1 poster in this thread, with almost 1/10th of the total.....

Been reasonable this week I thought, bit of rain here n there but theres been some nice days and forecast for more.

Apparently about 45 people died in the storms that went through my area and to the south last night. And a few days ago we were enduring 60+mph winds in my area and a 50,000 home power outage.

As I sit here between Joey and Philly, I can say that it is snowing very very hard right now. Its not just snowing hard, its drifting too. Not good... God knows if my car will start, although, the good news is that its warm enough where it shouldn't be a problem.

I hate this. I miss the 40-ish degrees and rain.

Looks like it's the same all over the state. The roads have a nice layer of packed snow on them. It's fun watching cars pulling out.

You might consider a transfer. The weather is part of why I came to Michigan, and I'm sure there are some Michiganders who would want to take my place at home.

It's currently 12°F with a high tomorrow of 26°.

I'll believe it when I see it.

Snowed a lot on Friday, then melted, then rained, now snow again. I'm not complaining.

I am. Some of the snow doesn't melt, creating heavy slush that's a literal pain to clear. When it's done, it snows so hard that in 5 minutes, one must reshovel their property.

11 Degrees Fahrenheit (I think) and another heavy snowstorm in Ontario... about 15-20 more centimetres.

Weird stuff going on in Grand Rapids: Nearly everything closed early today, and if this keeps up, I can't imagine there being much going on tomorrow morning either. We're supposed to have over an inch coming down an hour from now until three or four in the morning, if my understanding is correct.

Honestly, I don't feel like driving to school tomorrow in this. One hopes Aquinas is smart enough to cancel classes for the kids who drive in...

Same here in Chicago

They said it would start snowing during the night on Tuesday, but it only started this morning. It kind of stopped now and I don't think we will be getting more. It's a good thing since the snow is really heavy and a pain in the behind to shovel. And I think it's more likely to win the lottery than for school to close.

Every school, college, university, and tech school is close...except Oakland University, I swear to God the only way OU would cancel is if there was a nuclear war in the parking lot.

Needless to say though I didn't bother going tonight.

They closed Aquinas at 3PM today, on the day that most students don't have classes. One hopes that Balog is smart enough to realize that the roads will likely be dangerous for commuter students, and generally assuming that the on-campus crews won't be able to keep up with the snow, cancels school.

...One hopes...

Hope is like that too. We'll for sure have school tomorrow. Although they did cancel morning classes after that blizzard last week because apparently everything was icy.
