Single digits and going to the -10º'sF with wind chill. Tired of this. Christmas has passed. I want heat now.

My low tonight is -15ºF not counting the wind.

I will completely agree with the tired of this bit, though - the high tomorrow is 1º. One. I'd rather have it stay below zero than get to one.

If "what I'd rather" came into play, we'd have mass flooding from the melting. How's 75º with mid humidity sound? :D

Cheers,
Jetboy

We've already had our share of flooding. Bring on the warmth! I could open my windows and walk around the house without pants socks on!

No RHCP comments, if you please. :p

Well, I feel like I'm not in Florida anymore, it won't break out of the 50's all week, below freezing every night as well I'm pretty sure. My thin Florida blood is just not up to the task in this kind of weather.

It's colddd.

I want my 70's and 80's back.

Still Freezing here.
Had 2 Days with Record Cold of -26 and -22 F and now its getting better but still cold, Still below 0 as right now a current temp of -2, Sunny tho but ice cold. But it could be worse. ORR Minnesota had -36 Monday -40 Today. For Lows.

Some sleet earlier, along with 32F temperatures pretty much all day. Still was a little ice on the ground from the sleet. Ice has been there for at least 6 hours lol...

Holy schnikes, I'm not the coldest one here! It's a sweltering +4!

Buuuut... the low is supposed to be -19. :ouch:

Looks like we might be in for a small heatwave:

Celcius (Farenheit)

Looks like there will be no sport this weekend. :( About 120F difference in temperature here.

We're into our fourth week of freezing temperatures now. It hasn't been that cold, -18° C (-2° F) is the lowest yet but always below freezing. Tonight there are warnings for temperatures down to -40° C (-40° F) in the inner parts of Sweden though. :scared:

Looks like we aren't the only ones in Scandinavia with such extreme freezing temperatures then. For two weeks now it has been -15C to -20C during the day, and Friday night it got as low as -31C.

Well, it all depends on the humity. Over the weekend I've moved back to my college dorm at the coast, and although it freezes "only" -9C at the moment, the humity makes it feel more like -20C at the moment. It's also very windy, which makes things even worse.

London and the South East of England is bracing itself for the snow, with forecasters warning there could be over a foot of snow this evening, which is extremely unusual for that region. Here in Scotland, the snow is tolerable and intermittent, although it has been lying for the last two weeks almost, and doesn't look like going anywhere soon.

Currently it is -17F  and Looks like a clipper system will move through tomorrow giving a new coating of snow. 3-5 inches predicted. :yuck: I just want it above 0 but forecasts if holds looks like it but not for long.
Latest forecast:
Today: Sunny and cold, with a high near 3. Wind chill values between -22 and -32. Northwest wind around 6 mph.

Tonight: Increasing clouds, with a low around -7. Wind chill values between -11 and -16. Light north northwest wind.

Wednesday: Snow, mainly after noon. High near 8. Wind chill values between -4 and 2. Calm wind becoming north between 5 and 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Wednesday Night: Snow and areas of blowing snow. Low around -1. Wind chill values between -12 and -22. Blustery, with a north northwest wind 9 to 12 mph increasing to between 20 and 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.

Thursday: Areas of blowing snow and a chance of snow. Cloudy and cold, with a high near 0. Blustery, with a north northwest wind between 20 and 24 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around -12.

Friday: Mostly sunny and cold, with a high near -1.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around -15.

I very nearly didn't make it into work this morning, my car was buried in about 2 feet of snow and with my road being on a slight slope and me having to up the slope to get onto the main road it wasn't the easiest drive to work I've ever had. There's still a foot o so of snow left so if it snows againtonight like it did last night, I don't think I'm going to make it.

That said, it was a good job I did get to work today, there was only a couple of us in from our department, and we managed to just about stop any backlog increase today. So I think that would of been impossible with one less person in.

Apparently we are having the worst snow and cold weather for over 30 years in the UK.

Went to town today, had to drive at about 15 MPH the whole way! None of the roads were gritted at that point. Some people were having serious trouble sliding all over the road, especially those who seemed to have low profile sports tires.

If you pull away in like 3rd and keep going you wont really slide. A guy infront of me couldnt get up an incline and parked up. I tried it and it was no problem at all, the wheels didnt even spin.

Now its all turned to slush and pools of water, its going to be very dangerous tomorrow but I think most places of work and schools are closed.

Robin.

This so-called blizzard better hit the West Country soon! Me no likey School!

Lovely stuff. I drove home in it today with no issues, unlike most other UK drivers who seem to think that flooring it in 1st gear is a good way to make progress. Idiots.

Snow on the way to Indy the way its looking like on Late Wednesday, all day Thursday, and some of Friday.

Could be Winter Storm too.. and the temps? Its Frozen Hell in Indy...
