It's just before 2am, raining like a mother, lightning, thunder, straight line wind at around 40-50mph and confirmed tornadoes 5 miles away from my house.

Sleep isn't looking very likely tonight.
It's sort of nice, every once in awhile. Probably not when you need sleep, but sleep's so overrated.

:scared: that's doesn't sound great, hope it passed by.

I have 17°C, 87% humidity and drizzle :(

I haven't turned on the news yet this morning to see if there is any damage anywhere but the tornadoes stayed north and east of me. It is, however, still raining and doesn't appear to be letting up:

So much for getting the fence, swing set and playhouse stained (or anything else done outside) today. :grumpy:

Good thing I actually remembered to put the sump pump hose back on after I mowed the lawn yesterday!

Looks like you've been getting some extremely heavy rain, at least you missed the tornadoes.

I'm sure you'll be relieved to know the drizzle has stopped here.

mentioning sump pumps reminds me of visiting my uncle in Winnipeg a looong time ago

Hot (high is supposed to get to 94° no idea what the "feels like" will be then :scared:), but pleasant.

So my wife and kids went out to lunch on their way to the beach while I'm left at home to pressure wash the deck so I can stain it this weekend. :grumpy:

On the plus side, the pressure washer can crank out 1.5gpm so between that and copious amounts of tea, overheating issues should be cut to a minimum. Although the pool is looking rather inviting...

We had a nice break from the sun this weekend. It was cloudy and a very pleasant 60-ish for the most part. It was strange seeing an entire town walking around in pants and sweatshirts in the middle of August but that's Seattle! Looks like it's back to sun later this week though.

The weather rocks. I got to wear my jacket for once. Had to do yard work, admittedly, but I don't really care.

A nice and clear night right now. About 4°C outside. Much warmer inside :p
Tomorrow's gonna be mostly sunny, a bit o'cloud and about 15°C during the day :)
Gonna like it

Looking at the weather forcast for turkey (I'm going there on holiday on friday) its looks nice and hot about 40degree c/100 farinheight.

This is pretty much how our weather has been for few weeks.. Storms stir up fast, cause havoc and dissipate, just to make room for yet another one in their wake.:scared: We haven't even managed to fix the devastation from previous storms completely when new one steamrolls over the country. One day we even had three trombis ( small tornados), instead of the usual one or two PER YEAR..

I got the best weather of all... ugh hot and muggy for the rest of the week with a few storms tossed in. its hard to sleep at night in such heat. not having AC in the bedroom sucks

High of 90° with a "feels like" of 95° today.

And in a few short months I'll be bitching that it's -20°F.

Looks like Justin is about to get hit, too.

It's been hot, humid, and miserable here in Houston. Good thing I have no where to be, so I can stay in the A/C all day! I cannot wait until December!

Looks like Justin is about to get hit, too.

I didn't get hit too hard, my cousin(who lives 45 minutes north) had her power go out though.

We've been under an advisory, watch or warning for the past week. Right now we are under flash flood and severe thunderstorm watches.

I'm ready for Fall.

Hot!

[Jim_Carrey]Warm![/Jim_Carrey]

Well, I said it was going to happen. After the coldest July we've ever had (15-20 cooler than normal) and the coldest start of August we'ver ever had, it is now hotter than Satan's piss.

106º yesterday, and 105º today, with higher humidity. Yeah! 〫〬

Slight cooling trend coming in the next few days, but it will remain unseasonably hot.

71° now
47° for the low tonight
High of 82° tomorrow and then stay in the mid 80's over the weekend.

Looks like it's time to tear the pool down for the winter. :guilty:

I lied. It was 108º but the humidity was up. Way up! It taxed our AC unit... again. It's now 93 outside with 70 humidity, at least. Maybe higher. Inside, it's 83 and not much better. Fans are on and the kids and I just got out of the pool, which was hot too. Eyes burning, nasal passages runny and burning and sweating like a pig at the same time.

Yep, paying for July, for damn sure.

@Americans: Looks like you've got hot weather...In the uk, it only shines about 164 days a year. For some strange reason, any rain 10mm or higher in one shower is considered as a flood. We, the brits are mad about the weather, since were an island being attacked by atlantic winds and constant changing conditions.

It was 103º today, but with humidity factor it was actually 122º. Hot and sticky. Terrible.

At least it's going to be 10º cooler tomorrow. And ten more the next day.

It was 54º when I got in my car this morning. Apparently Louisville has had more days above average than any other city in the US this summer, but now we are having below average temperatures.

Climate Change: Kentucky gets it on a weekly basis.

Once again, you're colder than we are - it's currently 64.

I feel kind of bad that I'm planning on tearing down the pool today with the high slated to be 90, but with the broken clavicle, I don't think my son would have much fun anyway.
