^This. 👍
Someone in Somerset managed to flip their car off the road and land it on the roof in less than an inch of snow. Oh dear...

"ZOMFG there is an inch close everything".
Based on your earlier picture, not even close by residents should be coming in.State of emergency has been declared in 6 states. No school until next week and probably no work, except if you live closeby (like me) and everyone is free to leave today... except I have a meeting with clients in the US over the phone at 6:00
Is a gritter like a salt truck, or do they just spray grit on the road?
Snow here in Leeds, my work are refusing to let us go home for safty reasons, what happens when my shift ends and its pitch dark. Sat here with lots of unhappy workers wanting to go.
Can they do that? Where do you work?! I bet they wouldn't have told you to stay at home for safety reasons...
So it's not the "going home bit" it's the "all leaving the carpark at once" that's the problem?I work for British Gaslol (Pays the bills and for GT5)
They have now closed the building but are staggering people going by floor and distance from work, im on the last floor but I live about 20+ miles from work in Leeds City Center. My partner is not happy either she work here too.
We have snow showers going on and it seems like people forgot how to drive too. The roads weren't covered or slick, I don't see what the issue was.
So it looks like what I call a salt truck:![]()
Gritter. You can attach a plough or not.
To me grit is sand and dirt, and we never put that on the roads around here. It is always either rock salt or a brine spray.
