:D

The first time was in Tesco's petrol station so probably was at 5mph, second time was exiting a rounabout so must have been all of 15mph :dopey: My boss was sat next to me, who is less into cars than my mum, all he said was "So that's what opposite lock is"

Joachim the thunderstorm passed by, more wind then action.
But very wet here the last days.

It's snowed for the first time here at 9am but stopped at 11 so there wasn't really enough for snowball fights. Tip: don't wear shoes with flat soles if there might be snow/slush/ice

Freezing cold and the Santa Ana winds are blowing like mad! I hope it doesn't knock all the fruit off the trees.

Ya the Santa Ana's were blowing today. Knocked a tree over at my school.

Surprisingly clear considering it's December. But I've been told that this part of Germany gets the most sun exposure in the country. We still had temperatures of 20C+ (70F+) towards the end of September

I was promised lots of snow im Vaterland. But there's nothing! Not good. I love the snow.

Maybe January/February will deliver.

In Germany mostly January delivers, and February mostly more than December, so, there's much hope left. 👍

Still as sunny as ever here. Tomorrow I fly back to Wales where we do have some snow, I believe.

I've thought "(Das) gefaellt mir" would be a closer translation to 'Me Gusta'. I do sometimes wonder what memes are in German. 'I see what you did there' = Ich habe beachtet, was du getan hast?

I don't know, we're slow chatting. Let's hide before the Mods find out.

We had a little bit of snow this morning but it melted really quickly and now the sun is shining. Still cold though. I hope it doesn't snow any more, we've got a huge container full of items coming in to work tomorrow and I hate unloading them when it's snowing. :indiff:

"Ich mag" is pretty accurate I guess, as I suppose "me gusta" means "I like".

"I see what you did there" would be "Ich sehe, was du da getan hast" or "Ich verstehe, was du da getan hast", but your version was also nice.

Oh and: "Let's hide before the Mods find out."

EDIT: You'll be back to Vaterland in January/February?

Been raining infrequently. Seattle is NOT living up to its name this winter.

Since this morning, it's been grey, overcast and right about 3 in the evening it started to rain really heavy that we had a power cut for a couple of minutes... It's typical in Malaysia around these months. On the north and east-coast of Malaysia the condition is pretty bad and is flooded since a couple of weeks ago. It's pretty bad!

Yeah I know several people who live in Darwin, where the cyclone in the north is heading. I spent a week there and could easily live there. 30-35 degrees C every day even during the darkest storms. We were there at the start of October but there were no storms and about 35 during the day and around 28C at night, flying back to a cold and windy Adelaide where it was about 15C was not my favourite part of the trip. :yuck: Especially when it was meant to be mid spring there too.

Thankfully Summer has finally hit here, it's around 35C where I am and still climbing, dry and sunny. :)
