Lake Effect Warning until 4am. Bands are starting to setup over Southwest Lower Michigan & Northern Indiana. It's already reaching down to Indy. This could get nasty.

Today is pretty "hot" day. Its 0°C (32°F). Last weaks it was everyday about -10°C (14°F).

Wow, wish I lived in Finland, I love the cold!

Today here in New York, snowing with temps from 22°F (-5.5°C) to 31°F (-1°C).

I checked the weather this morning on my phone and it showed ice! Temp was down to 0. I didn't see any because the ice must have been further out of town but it sure is cold to today!

It snowed here in Tennessee today! It never snows here...

I used to live in Alabama, in the very upper right hand corner near Bridgeport & South Pittsburg, Ten. About a 45 minute ride to Chattanooga via I-24.

Ran the snow blower earlier. Very wet snow, the auger was acting more like a plow. Great packing snow for fights. A few hours later we had 3 inches of fluffy lake effect snow on the ground!

I don't actually live in TN, I live in IN. But I'm staying in Tennessee (Red Boiling Springs) for a week and felt like changing it. Btw, RBS is about 150 miles from Chattanooga, or about 3 hours, depending on the road you take.

Well, yesterday we had snow during the day in Shanghai. Yes, snow.

It actually snowed for quite a number of hours, but it was more sleet rather than solid snow.

Today, it has been extremely cold, coldest was around -3 degrees. That isn't quite so bad, but it is pretty damn cold with poorly insulated rooms and crappy heaters.

I am not looking forward to the electricity bill for this month.

My bill was close to 400 for last month and there's only anyone home in the evening, and after 1pm we're in bed using no electric yet those few hours in the evenings and a couple of odd days here and there with the rad on soon adds up!

Yes... that's what I'm worried about.

I would really like to use my bed to wrap up warm in, however the room itself is extremely plain and extremely white!

I had been getting by without the AC heating element, but this cold snap properly "snapped" my threshold to not using it just to heat the room (as its so power hungry and crap). It was just leading me to a road of bad health and bad mentality. Oh well, the cost will be whatever the cost is!

I had a friend who used to live in Beijing or Tianjin or somewhere further north, apparently the bills of 4,000 RMB wasn't uncommon. How did people survive there?!

Cold, cold, cold... But it's sunny out with bright blue skies and fluffy white and medium gray clouds about. They say rain again, but I very much doubt it.

Lots of clouds today in Mexico City... some cold wind also... still, I feel warm in here (@ the office) :)

Still damn cold. No rain, at least. Warming up a bit for the weekend, but just not enough. Nights are just too damn cold. Low 30's with highs in the mid 60's. I could really use a good heatwave right now, with temps in the low to mid 80's. lol

Temp gauge in my vehicle says 10F but The Weather Channel app says it feels like -10.

I believe it.

Again reporting from Mexico City! :D

Partially Sunny here :) A couple of clouds here and there, but today you can see the big blue sky again over here...

Sunny and warmer than the last few days. Still heating up, too. Low-mid 60's and no more clouds. Tonight will be low 40's compared to low 30's.
