I work in a B2B call centre. I call people at work all day. My job is ridiculously easy when nobodies at work and I just call answering machines.

So the snow seems to have slowed down here now...theres definitely less of it coming down!

The snow has slowed down, tomorrow it is going to be cloudy and on Tuesday we're probably going to get more snow, but that's probably only going to be melted by the sleet that it supposed to come down later on that day.

Yesterday the weather was PERFECT! 76, sunny, bright blue skies with a light breeze. No smog, no haze, not a single cloud in the sky! Today is no different. It SUCKS living in SoCal! Makes me wish I was in Kalkaska Michigan. 14/-10 today.

Muh-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-haaaaaa!!!

It is still snowing and from 9 in the morning and I think it's speeding up actually  .

Regarding the snow on your roof issue, I know somebody who got pulled over and fined for not clearing the snow from his roof. He got fined for it but I can't remember what the actual offense was. It takes a couple of minutes at the most and I'm sure motorcycle riders appreciate it.

What really annoys me is people not clearing their lights, especially at the rear. Imbeciles.

There;s a special place in hell for people who don't clean their car off after it snows.

With that said it's cold and snowy, Lake Effect snow is coming in pretty good. A few miles to the west they are getting 3-6". I think around here were are slated for 2-3". Next week it's supposed be down to 8-9 degrees with windchills hitting -15.

Had my first brush with a gritter a few minutes ago. All I can say is it really hurts your hands and face.

I've seen people not clearing their license plate, yet clearing most of the other bits of the car.

Police Officer: Pull over!
Driver: Errr.. hi officer?
Police Officer: Good day sir. I'm afraid I had to pull you over because your license plate is covered and that is illegal sir.
Driver: Covered with what?
Police Officer: Snow.
Driver: Oh... I'm not in control of the weather so you're going to have to blame Mother Nature for that.
Police Officer: ...

Today I saw the sky for the first time in ahges. It's blue...who woulda knew?

Pollution levels are down ti a minimum and I still managed to chatter nmy teeth! (But I am drinker beer which lowers the body temperature)

Absolutely stupid the amount of people driving with a foot on snow on the bonnet and roofs of their cars. Also covering headlights which are not turned on and brake light which barely shine through. Good job guys.

Chaos by snow in England, it's not nice to walk through I can tell you that. :grumpy:

I'm on the Isle of Wight at the minute, there's barely any snow left in the streets here, and only an inch or so on open ground. I'm not looking forward to driving home this afternoon though!

It snowed like crazy all day yesterday and last night, so any snow that had been cleared after Friday was now about another inch deeper. Right now it's 1°C but it really didn't feel that cold. Doesn't appear to be melting either.

Yes there has been a lot more snow but on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday there is more snow due apparently :scared: .

More settled day here..it did snow a little earlier but it was sunny this afternoon..so a much better day!

Well we got about 10 cm of snow last night and I had my first accident this year on my bike. I was going through the fresh snow at the side of the road my mate ahead went through a bit where the road disappeared (country back lane). I got to it and the next thing my back end lost grip and I ate snow.

This made me laugh as well someone my dad knows claimed they were snowed in. How much snow I hear you ask 15cm, 20cm maybe a foot?? No about 5cm!!!

Just seen weather report on BBC 6 o' clock news..the only snow tomorrow is going to be in the North east of England, Scotland and south Wales..

Supposed to be very cold the next couple days. Single digits at night. I just bought a new winter coat just in time. 👍

The snow has to go sooner or later I guess. It was fun having loads of snowball fights at school :) . But London is going to have more snow on Friday but it's probably not going to be a lot. It might make the existing snow deeper as long as the temperature stays below 0 degrees centigrade at all times.

Two o'clock in the afternoon, -6F, feels like -27F.
Tonight -23F, feels like -40.
Tomorrow high of -3F.

If you are complaining about the cold weather, perhaps you should consider a move to South Texas where I'm at. Here is the forecast for my area for the next 10 days:

If you're into the sport, it's a great place to play golf during the colder months of the year. However, you may not like the 100°+ daily high temperatures that we normally experience from May through September in this area either.

I was born in Georgia and have been back a handful of times in the summer. Given a choice between here and there, I'll gladly take here.

The Lake Effect Snow Machine is parked right on top of us in southwest Michigan. Bitterly cold, wind chills of 20 below. Not much snow at the moment, blowing way too much. We have a lake effect warning until 5am. Hopefully school will be at least delayed a couple of hours.

Ya the Lake Effect is pretty awful. I figured I'd be far enough west in Caledonia to miss it since I kinda figured it'd stop around Zeeland but apparently not. At least I get to do some hoonage in the snow.
