I wish they’d get rid of tuning for the second one.

I don't understand why?

There are 7 events with leaderboards only one of those has tuning available.
Many players here enjoy tuning cars in and for an event with a leaderboard.
Are you apposed to us having that one event?
Or are you saying GT Sport has too much variety?
Variety is the spice of life.
Not everyone is satisfied with just vanilla ice cream.

I must be doing something catastrophically wrong as I can only get a 2:43.772 in the red pig.. I know I’m not the fastest guy in the world but to be that slow compared to the top times is rather embarrassing

Relax lol It was a personal preference. I should rephrase it: I personally wished tuning was prohibited for the second one as it’s the most interesting of the two and it would’ve been fun to see everyone’s ranking with the default setup. Maybe if they’d do like in other games and allow us to see the tune, it would be great though I understand not everyone wants to share them.

I will publish my settings later today. I would love to see the Pos 1 too , he have a great traction out corner with a perfect longitudinal grip with a very planted rear end.

Just saw the new TT's and they look Awesome! my PS4 is currently installing the update but taking an eternity to do so... How long did it take for you guys install the latest update? I think my console is having a lazy day

Isn't this the first time trial where we can pick multiple cars, but no tuning is permitted? I recall that usually, when the entirety of a group is eligible, tuning is enabled, like with Gr.4 at Sardegna B II or Gr.3 at Interlagos. Though I think there was a Gr.2 time trial at Brands Hatch Indy - that event may've had tuning disabled, as well.

Ok the update only took 1 hour for me today anyway straight to Interlagos and I haven't got any of the fastest cars as I sold them when scraping together for a P4 so made the most of what I have for now and here's what I have tried so far..





I'm pretty sure the PUG can smash into the 1'19's as I know I left loads on track.. This is going to be a great week of racing all the GR1 cars here as I acquire them Have fun guys we are being treated with all these wicked combo's this week!

Haha , i don't think so , perhaps the most prolific yes . My cars are easy to drive , so they fit to the majority. It's a real pleasure for me since a long time, a game i love inside the game i love. Sharing this passion with others players is a real pleasure for me.

Hmm, not sure the final standings there are accurate/up to date for the past events. Last time I checked the Bugatti + La Sarthe I was 420 something, but Im 411th in the rankings there.

So weird that PD doesn't include final rankings, kinda defeats the purpose.

Re the Group 1 cars - any recommendations on vehicles? I only have the Porsche. I thought they would all be pretty similar in performance honestly. Particularly because you cant tune. So its surprising to hear that there are better ones than others. Obviously, Interlagos is a technical track and there is PLENTY of time there. I prefer to start with people 'meta' car choices before working on personal preference.

Have you increased the power and lowered weight to position 5?

edit, Didn't see the earlier posts suggesting the same, however did you go to position #5?

So. The merc is 2M credit car and I have 800k. Not interested to grind, so Ill stick with Interlagos.
1:21:0xx is my time there with the 919.
Feels like it has the best front grip.

A 3rd place now with a new setting , i have reduced my camber to gain braking capacity. It pay a whole second less on my lap. Also some little suspension modifications.
For the gearbox still the same
it's a classic trans flip
Final gear max
top speed mini
Then each individual gear ratio
Then final gear again at 3,200

You can use the 1st gear for slow last chicane and hairpin but you need to perform the out of those corners in 2d gear.
