I'm like your new post processing style, however I am not a fan of the pictures which only include part of a car or are poorly composed. Images like your preview image for part 3, doesn't work for me. Your main focus in that picture is presumably the Lacetti, but the Airwaves BMW is blocking the front part, and honestly if I'd taken it I'd probably have binned it. Going back to Update Part 2, the driver shot (walking along the barrier) is although a nice idea and composed well, out of focus. Whether this is due to cropping or just generally being OOF I don't know.

To make this post not completely negative, the rest of set for Part 3 is pretty good excluding the shots were not all the car are in or poorly composed. I'm especially liking the final image of the cars going round the chicane. Hopefully, you'll take my criticism on board and improve for next time. 👍

He uses a Tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6 and a Nikon 18-105mm VR.

Just stubled upon this gallery and I must say I am ver impressed:tup:

The sublte recolourisation of the shots just bring them out more while not going too far. The composition is great too.

What camera do you use? I am aiming to get a DSLR and am leaning towards a Nikon of some sort (I have a few lenses from my parent's film SLRs) but every bit help in order for me to make the right choice.

I like the continental GT shot. It doesn’t have any distractions in it. This I guess is the problem with taking photos at car shows, there is usually too much else going on to take you focus from the subject. I think you did well with them. My personal preference says the shots might be a little oversaturated but it makes them unique and your own style at the same time. 👍

Nice shots, I've always liked the sound of going to Moto Expo just simply because its outside. As Syntax said the Continental shot immediately grabbed my attention, definately my favourite out the bunch. My only gripe is that the pictures seems to have lots of saturation, which this fills in some of the blacks on the cars a little too much which causes a loss of detail. I think you'd be better off pulling back slightly the saturation, not too much (as thats your style that is consistent throughout your work). Thats my view anyway, nice work. 👍

Nice one dude. The car fits the background really well. The only thing I have an issue with is that image it’s not entirely straight.
