Update/DLC Release Date

It still Dec 20th. It said Sony jumped the gun by releasing update changes. It says nothing about the DLC/Update being delayed. So check your facts before writing about something. I see nothing on delays
 
The big question is WILL SCEA throw another Hissey fit and bugger up the release and again NOT tell PD...
Untill after the rest of the planets has got the content..
 
I translated one of Kaz's tweets, I had to use google translate which was about as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike... but from what I could gather it literally said "update 20 days as normal, DLC an extra day" so like the update will be on the 20th but the DLC could be on the 21st. But he never translated it into English like he said he'd try and do with 'important' tweets.
 
what I get from Kaz's twitter feed is that the update will be on the 20th and the DLC on the 21st.

I geuss we'll know tomorow

EU store does not update till WEDNESDAY normaly.
but Publishers can push content out EARLY... US is 8hrs behind EU. Content in EU released before 8AM GMT on 21st is still the 20th in USA west cost. This is WHY all release dates should have a TIME ZONE reference from SCEE but dont because they dont have a clue. Japan is 9Hrs ahead of GMT so its all ready 6:11 am of 20th December in Japan.

Well personally I could live without the DLC for another day, only if the patch comes out on the 20th around these parts. I think the standard car wheel swaps will keep me occupied until then.

Agreed. Standard car wheel changes will keep me occupied for a LONG time. Already have 60+ standards in my favorites list just itching for wheel changes.

I hear ya bro. I've begun to love cars I wouldn't dare to use online because of ****ty wheels. Good example is my 82BHP Honda Z ACT '70. Looks pretty cool dropped. Dropped with aftermarket black 5 spokes? Even better. :sly:
 
Ok, I'll admit i should have just said 5 hours. Anyway, back on topic... Have we got a rough time for the DLC?

@ Odyofil. From my understanding it's about 1am for you now, which means you'll be able to get the update at 6am.

Update should be after 4am GMT
so if you add 2 hours thats after 6AM your time.
This is for the update. PD could take even longer and keep the servers down till 8AM your time, nothing is fixed.

DLC is controlled by the PSN store for the game region. Even IF PD said a time and date it will be out when PSN store says not PD.

Crossing my fingers in hopes that update 2.02 arrives around 11PM-12AM EST here in America. May pull an all-nighter if that's the case/

Yep they planned to KICK every one of the servers in under 50 Mins from now yep.
As usual the same small print applies with All servers downtime.

Planned does not mean.... Will...wonder how many "got Kicked from GT5" posts will show up.
Shame GT planet can not FORCE a great big pop in as soon as you open web page here.

With a repeat of the server shut down notice.
