I wanna hear the best Urban Legends you know. Right now I actually can't come up with one, but I'll edit soon...

Have you spent time perusing through www.snopes.com?

It is pretty much the clearing house of urban legends and e-mail legends.

Such as Penny Brown does not exist, and the Neiman Marcus cookie recipe - isn't.

One that I can coincide with my family is the story of the dead aunt being stolen. The urban legend states a story about a family traveling cross country in a car with no AC. The old aunt dies and the family decides to wrap her in a rug that is on top of the car. They stop at a rest area and the car gets stolen along with the aunt hidden away in the rug.

My grandfather passed away and he was cremated. Whilst Grandma was in the store, her car was stolen along with the urn containing my grandfathers ashes. My grandmother didn't breathe a word of it to the family, and simply had the funeral service. The car was never located. Two weeks later, a package arrives in the mail containing the urn and ashes. Apparently the thieves had a guilty conscience and mailed him back. My grandmother had to announce at that time, there was another burial service needed.

Enjoy your visit to Snopes.

Hey, thanks for stopping by, Der Alta. As for me, I do not know any good urban legends at this time. Of course, I cannot compute any right now.
