Welp, Nurburgring just got announced.

Both. The spool time mainly (or boost threshold if we want to get technical :p ) but there's a fair bit of lag as well.
Sounds exciting, thanks for the info
Btw wasn't trying to sound like a pedantic know it all, as I barely know much on turbos anyway, but I know the two things get mixed up and wanted to be certain on what forza has included :)

If you don't have the Season Pass they'll cost you £4.99 for all five.
Wouldn't mind paying, but plan on getting the season pass anyway.

Random question: Does purchasing a season after all the DLC has already been released render all of the DLC free?

It certainly does

Still over 3 hours until I can finally play on it. Itching to take so many different cars out on it. I love this game so much. Thank you, T10. Thank you.

@TokoTurismo look what I found

Wooooow! Nice find man!

Just taken my first car around the 'Ring. Started with the Austin Cooper S and with a few mild upgrades, it easily overwhelms its tyres and understeers. oversteers and torque steers in almost every corner!

After the inaccurate version in previous Forzas and the quite tame rendition in GT5 and 6 (it felt a lot more knife-edge in GT4 for some reason), this new version is a breath of fresh air. You have to be on top of the car in every situation, as it should be.

Bravo T10. Xbox one looks abit more appealing now. Getting hard to resist not having forza ha. The ring looks fantastic. Just a shame the console is huge and ugly. Announce an xbox one slim tomorrow and i'm sold ha

Just bury it under a table or shelf or stand lol

Worst excuse I have ever heard for not getting a console. Come on. The game is awesome.

Damn...........didnt know anything about the Booster Car Pack...now Im at work....looks like Ill be staying up late tonight...=)

If anyone is interested I could record some Nurburgring laps with any of the cars in the game, just need car requests and what view angle you'd like.

This recording will be in 1080p/30 fps at the highest quality I can record and uploaded to Youtube.

Example of Quality:

If anyone is willing to host the original video it is at least twice the quality before the Youtube upload.

The Xbox One is not huge and it is definitely not ugly.

I'm sure you didn't, and probably don't, have a problem owning a PS3.

I can't be the only one that was way more amused than is reasonable about the fact the Brabham can be fitted with 365s on the rear, right? So much rubber for such a small car, and it shows in the handling.

EDIT: @FordGTGuy, in fairness, the slim models of the previous generation are much smaller, and the original fatty PS3 is called "fatty" specifically because it's enormous. And aesthetics are all down to taste.

It is a square and black box, probably one of the most least-offensive designs I've seen for a gaming console, Once put under a TV it is hardly noticeable.

As you can see from above it is thinner than both a Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, it's the widest but it's about as long as a PS4 is. It is also extremely quiet at all times and stays very cool.

Honestly aesthetics are just about the worse reason not to buy a Xbox One.

This car is a blast to drive!

It hates turning. I guess that's to be expected with wheelbarrow tires. A friend and I discussed this last night, and we figure the guys that raced these things had balls like watermelons. I wanted to see if they cut holes in the bottom of the seat to make room for such massive "attachments," as David Hobbs calls them.

It hates all these things even more so when it's getting on for 500 horsepower! Will definitely have to put slicks on it.

The largest ps3 was the best looking ps3. I wouldn't say the Xbox one is ugly, but it's a little basic, but why does that matter when your matter you're hammering a screaming 700 hp audi around the karussell? (Hint: it doesn't matter a damn bit :D )

I wouldn't say it's basic, I'd say it looks clean :) I prefer the look of the new generation of consoles over the previous one.

And you're right, it's the inside that matters :D

Apart from the obvious cooling reasons, it's no coincidence my 360 S is next to the TV and the One is buried out of sight, even below the satellite box. It's just anti-design. Worst looking console I've owned since the old grey PSX.

It's also weak in performance, but I will buy it for the forza franchise.
Great game on a weak console unfortunately :(

It's not weak in performance any more than the PS3 was. It's just harder to code for. Besides which, in the racing space, what does the extra performance of PS4 bring you this year? The same NFS as Xbox One and Driveclub, shaping up to be yet another generic, linear driving game which tend to go stale quickly.

For us racing fans, the fact that a first party is bringing us two diverse racing games on their employer's console is great news, because they have a leg up in programming for it.

All that matters is the games you get, don't let on paper specs dissapoint you! I mean how much better should FM5 look to make you think that it's not on a weak console?

well when it comes to racing games, you're right, they seem evenly matched. I'm thinking of some other games that have higher resolution/ frame rate on ps4 compared to xb1. But the Xbox had good points. I like the controllers features and it's great to hold, u think the console menus are good, and I do like the idea of being able to get tv and games on the same device.

Also @Igano please don't think I'm just being a douche. You and @VXR are correct about how forza is on par with other next gen racers that we are seeing. I actually think the Xbox one is a decent console, hence I'm getting one, so it's all good

I think you are blowing the difference in console specifications out of proportion, both consoles are close in performance, with the performance "edge" going to the PS4 (on paper). The cross-platform I have seen side-by-side show very little difference, we are not talking a black and white issue. With that said, the developers will truly determine what that "edge" amounts to.
