That’s just an image from Yelp – mine was way way redder than that. The color was more like the kimchi in the background of that image.

That's what I was looking at. :dopey:

My wife made chicken enchiladas, Spanish rice and refried beans.

And there's a ton of leftovers!

Taco's at Midnight Doritos (my 2nd favorite next to cooler ranch)

I'm also going to make some cheese dogs since the chicken I was going to cook is still partially frozen.

Homemade mushroom soup. Too much heavy cream and not enough vegetable broth, but it was still pretty damn good!

He must have thought ZERO was the suggested serving temperature. :p

Truth be told I had opened it only to set it down and forgot about it. By the time I found it it wasn't very cold any longer, and I'm not a fan of warm soda... but I also didn't want to water it down with ice seeing as how warm it was. So I figured I put it in the freezer for a little while... and clearly I left it in a tad too long. :D

Any way, I thought it looked kind of cool... like some kind of primordial soup oozing out of the can.

Come to think of it, anyone who has ever seen the amazing animated film, Allegro non Troppo may also see a connection:

* And if you haven't seen this film, you should, as it's both brilliant and a significant contribution to the history of film making.

Ravel's Boléro, as seen on the movie poster image, is a story of evolution set to the sixteen minute long piece, the animated segment sometimes compared to Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring in Fantasia, in part due to the solar eclipse scene, the similar animation of waterfalls, and the desert like environment.

The segment begins with a fairly 1970s notion, a space ship landing and throwing a nearly empty Coca-Cola or Chinotto bottle out on to the dead landscape of the planet they have found.

To Boléro's growing drum-beat, the remaining liquid in the bottle begins to work its way out of the bottle. Eventually it does, and begins to change shape into a variety of fantastic creatures, colorfully mirroring Earth's own evolution.

The creatures continue to march to an unseen objective, constantly in the same direction, sometimes in conflict with each other along the way, but all going absolutely straight forward except for the monkey in the film, which tends to kill other creatures. The monkey is seen learning to adapt with fur, boats, clubs, and eventually fire, all obtained at the expense of the other creatures.

The creatures, now looking much like dinosaurs, pass by the Egyptian Pyramids, a looming crucifix, and an already-fought 20th century battlefield, all forcing the creatures to gaze in wonder for a moment before continuing on.

Finally, as the piece reaches its amazingly loud climax, the creatures are all destroyed by skyscrapers coming up from the ground suddenly, followed by a looming human above them all. The human's face crumbles though it were made of stone to reveal the monkey inside, having conquered all the other creatures.

Well, breakfast was Oatmeal, and a Protein Shake (Glutamine, Two Scoops Protein mix, R.O. water, ice and 6oz of yogurt), and two hard boiled egg whites.

I get up early and have to get the wife's lunch ready, feed the young Cockatoo, get the bird food ready, and get myself ready, plus get my morning meal and the wife's breakfast ready. In an effort to save time, I've started hardboiling eggs in the evening so I can have them in the morning and for a mid morning meal.

32 oz Grape Powerade ZERO.

First off, I hope it doesn't explode like the last Zero drink did.

Secondly, short of having t clean it up, I wouldn't really care if it did because it tastes vile. Good thing it was free cause I'd hate to think I threw my money away on this.

On the plus side, the bottle will work out well for mixing my powered Gatorade.

I wanted to make a good breakfast for me and the boys this morning. I wanted oatmeal with an elk sausage omelet with green bell peppers and onions. They wanted peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

In unison yelling, "IT'S NOT PEANUT BUTTER SANDWICHES! IT'S PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY ON TOAST!"

Smart asses. They're a couple of smart asses this morning. I should have stayed in bed.

You should have made them bell pepper and peanut butter sandwiches toast.

I was going to say elk sausage and peanut butter toast but you don't waste good sausage!

I just got a book in the mail, it's called Hamburger America. Some of you may have heard of it. I'm also proud to live about a mile away from one of the joints listed in the book, the Hamburger Wagon. Mmm. But the Hamburger Wagon is closed because it's after 7 pm. This is a problem, see, because I'm hungry. I can't decide what to eat.

So, I'll ask you people what to eat. I probably won't like what you're eating right now because you people eat some crazy stuff and make it yourself (that's a problem), so I'll ask: If you weren't eating what you're eating right now, and you had to pay for it, what would you eat?

I await your responses because I'm really hungry.

Mexican food makes me doodoo. Also, Chinese food and stuff similar makes me blargh, so those don't count either.

Last night we got Doughboys pizza after coming home from the hospital. Best pizza in Broward County as far as I'm concerned. They make their own dough and bake it properly with the coarse cornmeal on the bottom and everything. It was awesome, and we also got a free small pizza too.

It would be funny if their slogan was "Doughboy Fresh".

By the way, for all those conecerned, I settled on Steak 'n Shake. Mmm.

Delicious rectangular pizza. Frozen and boxed before cooking in oven. Best frozen pizza I've ever tasted.

^ Sure it isn't a round pizza and you forgot to take it out of the box?

Just ordered a P'Zone as well as some WingStreet Potato Bites(never had them before, hopefully they are good). It's been awhile since I've had Pizza Hut.

Update: The P'Zone was good, however the Potato Bites were just "W" shaped tater tots. On the site they are described as seasoned potatoes, not bland flavorless tater tots.

The snot-faces wanted chicken nuggets, so we ate chicken nuggets. I didn't have to cook, so the wife made instant (box)cheesy potatoes and boiled diced carrots. At least I didn't have to cook, right?

I was mowing all afternoon so my wife made chicken parmesan and whole wheat pasta with sauce. All boxed or bottled. :p

Tasted nummy and I also didn't have to do anything but eat it.

Chased that with 2 chocolate chip cookies my mother-in-law made this morning with the kids. I have a feeling I'll be having more later. With milk this time.
