Went to Studio Diner last night to celebrate the end of finals. Had their fish and chips and hot fudge sundae. Awesome. What’s absolutely amazing is that normally with fish and chips (at least in the States), the batter is the highlight while the fish is meh – here though the fish is amazing.

It’s actually two filets fried together. :) I had to split it with a friend to make room for the sundae.

Left over chile rellenos and pork carnitas from On the Boarder restaurant. I also got some Red Bull Cola, which isn't bad.

Hey, young man! I hope that 'sea kitten' wasn't thrown around before frying, or some people are going to be mighty upset with you!

America really needs to know how to do Chips.

Glass of cloudy lemonade and a piece of yoghurt/cherry/chocolate/cream cake I made.

Having seen you eat, I entirely fail to believe this. :p
Beware young man, your hollow legs are filling up! :scared:

Anyway, I'm chilling at home having been out for our usual Sunday Sushi dinner, and have just opened one of these:

, as I'm sure many of our Antipodean members will attest to. ;)

 They seem to have the chips down at Ye Olde Falcon Pub.

Anyway, for lunch today I'm gonna take a shot at making my own Cha Siu Bao/Nikuman but with chicken instead of pork. Should I document it?

I think I may have overdone it slightly with the chillis just now...

I made a stir-fry, as I normally do every couple of weeks or so - but this time, instead of cooking two days worth and reheating the rest tomorrow, I decided to only use half the ingredients and make it fresh both tonight and tomorrow. Unfortunately, I forgot the half ingredient thing while adding garlic and chilli, and so I used two whole bird-eye chillis for one meal, and good grief was it hot  It was pretty good though, although my stomach (and other related parts of my anatomy) will probably not be very happy about it...

If I can be bothered getting off my butt we will be eating burittoes............if only Jack could cook :indiff:
