I haven't had Tea, let alone Sweet Tea, in a really long time. Probably a couple years or so to be honest.

Somehow, I have managed to not even like tea for some reason now.

I've been drinking a lot of that lately, as the supermarket where we buy our stuff as been offering bottles of it. It must have been, like, 3 litres so far.

I love drinking it cold in the morning.

Just had a turkey sandwhich with mayonnaise. :)

The wife made udon! Miso-flavored udon to be precise, with real panko-crust ebifura, eggplant tempura, loads of veggies, Mexico-made naruto -yes, I know lol- and those small mushrooms whose name escapes me but dude are they cute.

I like croissants, so I had a nice croissant and a sparkling water.

That's brunch for me. Now it's time to finish my walk. I may pick up a snack for later if I find something.

Having a couple hot dog sandwiches (although I guess that's redundant) with cheese and mustard.

Just a spoon full of peanut butter makes the chocolate chips go down, in the most delightful way.

Last night I tried out our new Instant Pot on some roast chicken with potatoes and carrots. I used the cooking juices to make some gravy, as I slightly over cooked the chicken and the white meat was dry. I'm used to being able to monitor my food. Using a pressure cooker is a whole new thing for me.

After a 12 hour workday I just wanted something good to eat but easy. So I took a rack of lamb that I've been thawing and just threw it in a cast iron skillet. Rub down with olive oil, then salt, garlic powder, white pepper, black pepper, bit of rosemary, bit of oregano, and sear it flesh side down before giving it a flip after 3 minutes. Do the other side for 2 minutes to brown, then flip it again and hold the fat on the pan to render it down before you flip it one last time and throw it in a 450 degree oven for 15 minutes.

The whole thing from fridge to mouth was like half an hour. Made some instant mashed potatoes and had horiatiki salad that I made yesterday. Don't forget to parsley the lamb and potatoes when you're done.
