The banana peel was almost more brown than yellow, but not the banana though. It was still completely white.

Pork 20% fat, whole grain toasted buns and Monterey Jack cheese with a sprinkle of chilli flakes and oregano.

I bought this case of 24 Spam singles a little over two years ago. They cost me just under 83¢ a piece. The cheapest I have seen them in the grocery store is 99¢ on sale. Two year old Spam? Yes, they have a 'best by' date of July 2018.
I have used them in omelets, egg scramles or just with lettuce and tomato in Spam burgers. I don't eat them very often but I always enjoy them when I do. After today I have nine left, so that means I have eaten 15 over the last two years. I keep forgetting I have them.
Tonight I made one of my favorite Spam things.
A fried Spam, egg and cheese sandwich. I always break the yolk after I flip the egg, but I'm careful not to cook it until it is hard. I love me some runny egg yolk.
I cannot eat a whole can, Most of it went to waste, unless I forced myself to eat it. The singles are the perfect alternative. And the 3+ year shelf life only adds to the value.
