I ate chalk as a kid one time and that was bitter from memory. I'll give that a try.
Bread with jam or cheese spread.
Tomato slices with celery salt, bacon strips, an orange and some jelly beans.
I have no idea what to prepare for lunch. Also, I'm not that much motivated to make lunch.
I don't even know what to have for breakfast. And no, I'm not interested in nuts this time. I eat way much fewer nuts than last year.
Burger off the grill
Onion and mustard
Cheese and a leaf
Deli turkey tortilla
Green peps and onion
Bread with jam and tomorrow probably pizza time.
Grilled up some shrimp (+sausage) and grits for dinner.
Didn't bother with pics since it didn't look too pretty. Tasted good, that's all I care about.
I'm totally getting pizza today too. Thanks for the inspiration.
A relatively meek breakfast for a guy my size:
Strawberries and blueberries with a cup of coffee and kefir. The coffee hits the spot; I've found the best extraction point on my grinder and the coffee has a rich, caramel flavor.
I'm having Kefir at the moment with stuff mixed with it. Good stuff.
Assorted mini pizzas, from a local take-away.
Bread with jam and 93% black chocolate.
I'm going to eat and drink at the same time >> my freshly made vegetable soup.
The same soup.
Whole grain spelt spaghetti with mascarpone sauce (no home made sauce this time)
Oatmeal for breakfast.
Eating? As little as possible
Drinking? As much as possible
I still have chicken curry spread left over from yesterday. I like chicken curry spread.
Jam on some Bread the next time you have jam on some bread.
Farmer John cheeseburger from a local burger shack
I'm having Lasagne for lunch. It's in the oven almost ready to be eaten by me in a couple of minutes.
Langoustine pasta coated in a sauce made of olive oil, butter, sliced garlic, shallots and Parmigiano Reggiano, with a bit of black pepper and a some thinly sliced Serrano pepper to give it a little bit of a kick, all topped with fresh chopped parsley and a very generous helping of more Parmigiano. Garlic broccoli on the side and a glass of California Zinfandel to round out the meal.
Public holiday tomorrow so I’m settling in for a treat of a few beers and maybe a Penang curry.
Last night I made some delicious meatloaf. My daughter and her cousin are here, so I didn't get to go all wild with it. But a good meatloaf is hard to mess up really.
In a few more hours though, I'll begin prepping and cooking some ribs! Didnt get to brine them over night, which is something I think is a good idea. But a good rub and 4 hours in the oven will take care of that.
For now though. It's coffee, and I might get me a bowl of rolled oats.
Smoking a pork shoulder. Better hurry the hell up. I'm gettin' hongry.
Couple of rolled slices of milk flavored bread dipped in a glass of cold full fat milk. I love milk.
Totino's Party Pizza!
I doctor them up a bit though. You have to, they don't come with enough cheese or toppings. Although sometimes I cook them as is, on a sheet pan and fold them over and eat them like a sandwich.
But, here is how I usually eat them. I start with a Totino's supreme pizza. I Add lots of oregano, a little seasoned salt, then top with whole milk mozzarella, that I keep in the freezer. Then I add pepperoni, and on top of that I sprinkle with parmesan. The parmesan fries in the fat from the pepperoni. Sometimes I use anchovies instead of pepperoni.
There is something really tasty about burnt pepperoni, I must admit. Whenever I cook or order a pie, I also have it cooked a bit longer to crisp up the bacon, pepperoni and crust.
I love adding only salt to them. Not sure why, maybe I have the taste buds of 7 year old.
I just had a lunch meat ham sandwich on a burger buns rather than sandwich bread. That's been my lunch for the past three days.
