Scrambled eggs with some toast
2016-08-24 08.54.43.jpg

Last night I grilled some skirt steak for tacos, with cheese and some chiles toreados (roasted serrano peppers, onions, and some other spices) I picked up in the Mexican section of the grocery store.

Made some spicy potato wedges.
Added 2t spoons of hot chili powder and damn, they were awesome.

Can someone lose enery and feel tired due to eating the wrong food?

Ate half a pizza with 4 different cheeses for lunch.

Pork tenderloin plus root beer plus slow cooker on low plus 10 hours equals...

Ask me in 10 hours.

Root Beer

Interesting
It still needs seasoning after its done (I use Pork Barrel and BBQ sauce) but it is absurdly tender. It's incredibly easy to make and never lasts very long with the two voracious carnivores I have in the house.

I'm going to have a bowl of very good and very tasty home made tomato soup. Made it this morning with fresh organic vegetables. Yummy.

At the moment I'm eating oatflakes, oatmeal cereal with dried berries, shredded cocos, raisins all mixed togheter in oat milk.

I'm also trying to sprout wheat intact whole grains. I'm trying to grow wheat grass.

Y'know, a lot of people come up to me and ask "Hey Vincent, what is the meaning of life?" I chuckle, look them in the eye and say "The answer has been looking at you from the ice cream isle for a long time."

I have read reviews on the Internet about how good Trader Joe's chocolate croissants are.

Well the other day I was at Trader Joe's and decided to check them out. I saw right next to them in the freezer section, the almond croissants. Not being a big fan of chocolate, I decided to grab a box of those.

The directions say to put them on a lightly buttered baking pan and let them sit at room temperature for 6 - 7 hours.

They rise.

And then you bake.

These things are so good. There is just enough really sweet almond paste on the inside to balance the butteriness of the flaky croissant.

10/10 all day long

Another donut, this one definitely more... strange than the last one.
