Made turkey breast with rice and some vegetables for dinner tonight.

Not long after spending $22 at Taco Bell for three Burrito Supremes and a medium Dr.Pepper, I decided to not be a lazy bastard and roll a couple fatties today. Seasoned ground beef! Refried beans! Sour cream! Pepper jack cheese! Tomatoes! Black olives! Salsa verde!

Pint of milk for scale, in lieu of a banana.

Pad Kra Phrao

My first attempt at recreating my favourite dish at my local Thai restaurant that is a go-to place for Friday lunch. They charge £8 for this (pretty good) plus £1.50 for the egg.

It is very, very easy to make, and my attempt was very close to the restaurant version - spicier (nose is running!) and a bit too salty, but otherwise a big success. But not much cheaper to make at home (albeit I'll have another serving for lunch tmrw)...

Looks almost legit. Needs more basil for authenticity, I’d say.

Edit: Pad Kra Phrao, unless it’s a different dish.

Pizza and grapes?

I mean, grapes are refreshing and hydrating... I can see that working really well together. If there's a pizza with grapes as an actual topping, forgive me, for I have not seen it before. :P
