I had left over pork mince from last night's meatballs so I used it for a breakfast burger. Would have been better with some cheese but I didn't have any to hand.

Not quite as good as McD's, but I'm working on it.

Next time, try an English muffin. Much better. Lightly buttered, sausage, egg, cheese... 1,000 times better than Mc Donald's McMuffin.

Had one cup cottage cheese with two handfuls of Fritos Scoops and Tapatio hot sauce. Little Booger had the leftover Ultimate Cheeseburger Mac.

Big booger is out there, somewhere. I hope whoever he's with fed him. lol

I don't know where to get English muffins otherwise I would try them. I'd probably smother it in butter and slap on a lot of egg and sausage but I was down to my last supplies and just used what I had.

Tops usually has them. Most grocery stores do.

Yep, you gotta do the best of what's available. But, since part of China was once under British rule, I'd figured you would access to English Muffins, even though English Muffins are 100% American.

You could always make you own, to experience what I'm talking about. Trust me, you'll thank me.

I'm Dutch. Well, Dutch-American. Lived in Holland a few years in my life. I know all the Dutch customs. Entire family lives there. Here in the US, it's just me, mom, brother and sister. Everybody else are in Holland.

aha that explains. Well just had breakfast with 4 slices of bread topped with:

We have Walmart, Carrafour and all over international chains but they all stock Chinese produce for the most part. :grumpy:

Have you asked your local store for 'Ingrish Muffins'? Might be worth a try....

Must try for lulz. 👍

EDIT: Oh, on topic, my mate Fat Jim from Sunderland is manning the BBQ. He's doing a good job with the sausages and bacon.

Your cooking area looks like McDs.

TB
^ PSST! He's in China.

He has that union jack think, that sort of false advertising.

Mom made spaghetti... without using spaghetti noodles. I don't get why she does this sometimes. Last time she made spaghetti, she used rice vermicelli.

Asians...

I splashed out on some Oreos on the way home.

I ate BBQ dinner for free today though, so I'm still on my daily budget.

EDIT: Birthday Cake Oreos FTW. 👍

I put a spoonful of O'Boy cocoa powder and Nescafé Original instant coffee together in a mug, poured some hot water and added a bit of milk. Tastes surprisingly good and has a good aroma too!

Brunch was the rest of the cottage cheese (1 cup) and two handfuls of Fritos Scoops with Tapatio hot sauce.

Sister brought me home a Big Mac and fries from McDonalds =P

Chicken broccoli fettuccine alfredo per Little Booger's request since he had leftovers yesterday. Fresh strawberries for dessert.

Jealous. Good meal + I love strawberries. Especially when I go out and pick them, pop them in the fridge and make a home made strawberry-chocolate fondue later.

Usually fresh picked strawberries will keep me happy though,

The same secret recipe honey & chili glaze but this time the chicken is diced and pan fried and served in a baton with a 'nana.

And a cup of Sprite. :)

I'm still not hungry in the morning. :ouch:

I did drink a little bit of sea buckthorn juice and mixed fruit juice.

Midnight snack of a hot dog with mustard and dill relish and some Fritos Scoop with some Cholula Original Hot Sauce and Cholula Chipotle Hot Sauce. Decided to try that hot sauce and I don't care for it. I'll stick with Tapatio.

Chicken espatadas from the Portuguese takeaway across the road. Plenty of piri piri sauce and salad too. 👍

I'm a hungry Shem after a 50km trek around the city today. Will be enjoying some homemade burgers as soon as I get off the forum, into the kitchen and get cooking.

I'm really starting to enjoy this cooking thing. I'm not half bad at it either (if I may say so myself). :) The washing up part is pants but it's give and take I suppose.

Ran low on ingredients so not a slither of cheese or anything to go with it. :grumpy:

Still, they didn't last very long. So tasty.

Dinner at 1:30PM? Or is that lunch? Late brunch, perhaps? Hey, when the kids have water polo games, you eat when you can!

Leftovers from last night's dinner.

Today we went out for a smorgasbord of vegetable foods with my dad for breakfast... :)

Just been eating a sausage which I bought from one of those open 24/7 shops. I love how you could for example visit at 3am and buy a whole cooked chicken. Problem is, I'm in Hungary for a week and can't read Hungarian, and can guarantee that with my luck this sausage turns out to be horse meat from some dirty Polish warehouse.

I had a banana and a sausage burger for breakfast and for lunch I fried up some more of my delicious sweet and spicy chicken to put in a sandwich.

Breakfast; A bowl of rice porridge with cinnamon powder, sugar, a bit of butter and a mug of milk.
