YAY! I chose "I don't smoke."
If this thread was started 6 months ago, I would have selected Marlboro Reds. I smoked a pack a day for almost 13 years, but I am now smoke free.
It was actually pretty easy. I went to my doctor and got a perscription to Welbutrin. It was really odd and I didn't think it was going to work, but it has.
I remember going into the doctor and he gave me Welbutrin. He told me to take double the dose for the first week. This happened to be July 1 2003. He told me to quit smoking on the 10th. I asked him what I was to do until the 10th, was I supposed to taper off on my smoking or what?

He said to just keep smoking like normal and then just quit smoking on the 10th. Well, I thought this was the most ludicrous idea and method that I had ever heard of. This is never going to work I though.
So here I am on July 9th, and I smoked a half a pack of cigarettes.

Went to bed and woke up on the 10th, and have never smoked a cigarette since.

It was amazing. The Welbutrin along with some good will power and I'm a non-smoker.
Don't get me wrong, there have been a few occasions where I've been tempted to smoke, but for the most part, it's been a really easy transition from smoker to non-smoker.
I hope that all you smokers out there will one day come to your senses like I did and quit. Smoking is only going to kill you.
