From 14-18 I smoked a pack of Marlboro lights/mediums, or a pack of Camel Turkish Golds, a day. From 14-17 I smoked bud about 6-7+ times a day, everyday of the week. Sometime when I was 16 or 17 I had dropped out, and spent my entire day riding around with friends getting high. It really ****ed me up. I was a lazy bastard, my parents hated me, I got caught a few times, my parents put me on a probation thing for 9 months.

That's all changed, thankfully. I woke up. Realized I was basically throwing my life away, and put an end to it all. Quit hanging out with all of my "friends" who did those things, and very quickly I had quit drinking, and smoking. Now all I do is go to college, and go to work. Even if I wanted to do that stuff I wouldn't have the time.

I dont smoke. My dad did, but quit. My brother did but quit. As Klos said, smoking second hand smoke is bad enough.
 
I used to smoke when i was at college and uni, but i gave up and havent had one for almost 10 years now...

thats why i have no sympathy for people who smoke and cant give up, if i can do it, any one can....you just need a lot of will power...

i regret smoking, i wish i never did it but i cant turn back time....

sometimes when i am out with my friends that smoke i kinda would like to have a puff of thier cigarette...the craving never diminishes completely but it goes away 98%...so its easy to control after a while....

i cant honestly remember the brand i used to smoke...i rolled my own most of the time however...

i will never smoke again because i am trying to kick drinking too much alcohol...and i like to keep healthy..
 
Sometimes I walk around with a vanilla Philly in my mouth and pick up my cane and say "Ok mang, you wanna **** wit me? You ****in' wit da best!" to myself in the mirror. I think I fired one up once, too. Does that count?

Usually the Philly gets used for other smokeable purposes before I can do anything stupid like that, though.

I just recently saw that movie. It was better than I thought it was gonna be. I was trying to think of the exact way he said "man" but you hit the nail on the head with "mang", that sounds just like him.
 
Not only is this against the rules to post about this, but smoking is a stupid activity that kills you (yes, smoking weed kills you). you build up tar in your lungs and literally drown yourself to death, either that or get cancer and die of a heart attack or something.

edit: there are no rules against posting about drugs, but I still don't like it (technically weed is illegal and smoking it is an illegal act which makes it against the AUP, but I'm not complaining...)
 
You should have made this a poll where users can select multiple options in which case, Marlboro, Camel, Kool, Newport, Ssarg

Breathing will kill you. It gives you an incureable disease - known as "life" - which takes around 70-80 years to kill you.

I can't stand how people say "Blah blah this, that and the other will kill you". YOU'RE GOING TO DIE SOONER OR LATER, GET OVER IT.

I don't smoke cigarettes, don't see the point in smoking cigarettes, but I also don't think people should nag other people about their habits.
 
I don't agree with them giving them a hard time either.

If they choose to die early then that's up to them.

I have done some major thinking the last month regarding myself and how i view the world and how I view life and. . .

The way I see it now is that you are only on this Earth for say a good 60 years if you are lucky.

You have an ETERNITY to be dead.

Why not make the most of life and enjoy it and try to prolong it.

Why speed up death?

You have forever to be dead, you only have so long to be alive.

Make the most of it people.

yes, but when THIER habit gives YOU cancer i think there is a case to nag them....over 400 people a year die in the UK from the effects of passive smoking...they never had the chance to give up the habit, its forced upon them...

So they were held down, and forced to breathe in second hand smoke? Hell no. If they don't want to be around people smoking, they should leave. If it's in their place of work, and don't like it, get another job.

Yea it takes years off my life but i dont care, i dont want to be a 100 year old vegetable who cant do nuttin anyway.

Smoking is dumb as hell, but justifying it is even dumber *cough* squidandsuprafly*cough*. That said, I do smoke, although I'm in the process of quitting. I haven't had a cigarette for 4 days and I'm down to a pack a week instead of 1/2 pack a day.

Camel Turkish Golds for me.
 
i dont smoke and for good reason i dont want my lungs filled with ash. and my dad says he went out with like the hottest girl in his high school and he said he ditched her after one night because when they kissed he said he could taste the cigarettes. and i think thats just plain nasty!
 
Guys - for the second time,I think the point about the health effects of smoking have been made. Let the smokers have their thread back.
