What expansion/DLC would you pay $20 for?

New tracks (silverstone, spa, brands hatch, mount panorama, etc)

I really don't understand why some people here would pay 20 bucks for 3 tracks and less than a dozen cars. Other developers charge half of that for the same amount. Add on top: most tracks and cars are already sub-standard, paying 20 (or even 40 as mentioned above, WTF?) for a small DLC pack is like telling a robber to come home with you and take your TV after he has taken your wallet.

I'll gladly pay 20 bucks for track DLC when at least all the existing tracks are of the same standard (all night/day and weather). I'm not encouraging a developer to deliver more half-done work.
 
Pretty much any bone they throw at me I would buy. I'm good dog ;).

Seriously as long as it has some new tracks I would definitely buy it ;).
 
All the 24 missing tracks would make me fork over 20 USD. Less than that, no 🤬 way.

Open World Driving would be pretty nice but thats not the meaning auf GT5 i guess

I would pay for extra tracks like Istanbul Park, Singapore circuit, Circuit de Catalunya, Silverstone etc.etc.

That would be so nice.. Forget about premium cars.. We want tracks.

Add a few tracks from GT4. Infineon, Grand Canyon would be nice.

Throw in another Dodge as a premium, along with another LMP and perhaps a NASCAR.

Gimme GT4 music with em' fries, adding at least "Panama" by Van Halen.

...then add commentary from Darrell Waltrip. THAT would make the game complete for me.

...and a Chuck Norris racing suit.
 
I would pay 20$ for an expansion pack of 100 premium cars, 20 new tracks and updated/ expanded game features (f.e. a better and extensive track editor/ damage model/ photo locations).
 
For an extra $20 it'll have to be a truly huge expansion, not just a few new cars and tracks.
In the same way those GTA expansion packs (which I haven't bought) offer something truly different from the main game aside from extra content.
With GT5 as it is now with only roughly 220 Premium cars and about 800 cars (and a few tracks) from previous games it'll be a bit rich to ask $20 for 4 extra cars and 2 new tracks (1/3 of the cost of the game for roughly an extra 0.4% of content is ridiculous in my opinion).
No matter which cars, and why does everyone only seem to want supercars by the way?
I love them too but there are much more interesting cars still missing from GT.

$30 for AI difficulty settings, where you can actually set it as "easy as pie" for casual gamers, "piece of cake" where most folks think it's set right now, ... and on to "hard as hell" where you'll always end up last for a change.

For 20$ I expect something containing at least one third of the content of a full game (60$), not 7-8 cars and 2-3 tracks.

Most of the original tracks (high speed ring, trial mountain, etc.) were not made to race on during the night, additionally majority of the ones without a time change, which are actual real courses, are also not typically raced on during night hours.
Its pretty sad, if you complain about the game this much why not just sell it and buy something else, maybe a programming book so you can make a better game, right brah?

Id love to see some more vdubs, specifically the jetta and passat, hopefully with all the different engines as well, TDI, VR6, 2.0T etc.
Hell, i would pay 20 bucks just for a TDI pack, that included the vw TDI lineup (Jetta, Passat, Beetle, Golf, and Toureg)

as far as tracks, i'm pretty happy, id love to see pikes peak return, I would also love to see some more mountain tracks to satisfy some of the drifters etc. though that is unlikely.
 
A themed pack with several cars with race modification, a course and maybe new events would be nice for $20. For example:

They would be silly to release more content for free. This isn't like glitter helmets and white race suits, or changing menu function. This is hard content.

They should charge money because that establishes a profit motive. That's the best way in the long run.

I would like all the great old tracks in HD. That would cost money to make. Real money. I'm willing to pay.
 
I don't know what $20 is in £'s but I would like tracks such as:
Brands Hatch
Spa-francorchamps
Interlagos

Motegi
Infineon
El Capitan and Swiss Alps configurations
Opera Paris
Midfield Raceway
Apricot Hill Raceway
Driving Park
Grand Canyon


Also, perhaps a few more premiums.
