Since you live in the USA you can take a look at Newegg.com. They have the latest laptops from ASUS. Personally after the experience from my ASUS laptop and a motherboard thatlived for 5 years, I would stick with ASUS. It would also help if you were to post what you can spend as the limit.
What program are you using to convert them? I don't have a Blackberry so I'm not sure what format they need but Any Video Converter has worked for both my Zen and Touch and coworkers Eris and Incredible. As far as speed goes, it will convert a 45 minute TV show in less than 20 minutes but YMMV.Converting my videos to Blackberry format is annoying....

So because it's a cheaper make, it means it can't do what it says it can? Something that is illegal in the EU and would have been tested by numerous standards agencies?
I'm well aware of why other brands will cost twice as much for lower rated units.
Why is that?
Especially when running high end power hunger video cards off them. RD is right. A good PSU should be the backbone of your system.Power supplies are more complex than just looking at the watt rating.
I will just say that part of that money does go towards quality including some components which cheaper PSUs may not have and actually being able to reach and surpass their rating safely.
