What is "The Ugliest" car in GT 5???

The Hyundai HCD6, Prius, Honda CR-Z, NASCARs are pretty ugly too if I'm honest..

But, that said the XR8 is also quite ugly.. handles well and its fast but my gosh what were Ford thinking when they designed the AU!? Even the road version is an ugly cuss. Ugly ugly ugly.
 
I don't know what it is, but it's a rabbit car in the Japanese Classic events. It's some ugly Mazda tar looks like it should be floating on water. Or at the bottom if you prefer. Ugly boat!
 
GT5 - I'll drive either one of these two cars, but I sure wouldn't want anyone knowing I had one in the garage.

1999 Opel Tigra 1.6i '99 - "Bubble Butt" or the front end of a "Talon" and the back end of a Pacer.

and the

2000 Fiat Barchetta Giovane Due '00 - looks like it should float and I'd probably like it a lot more if it did. Either that or they took a Miata and put it through a giant pasta machine.

Edited to add the Mazda Autozam AZ-1 1992! Red and black and still ugly and it drives like a wheelbarrow!


But if you go back to GT1 I just couldn't get into the Subaru Alcyone SVX Version L at all. I love black and white cars for the contrast and definition, but that thing was just ugly.

Don't take it personal, its your oppinion and I respect it as such.

But they were beautiful cars. And had nothing to do with Talons or Pacers.:sly:

Ive always thought that car to be down right hideous, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
 
The Toyota MR-S hard top is nice.


However, the second you put that 🤬's hat on it, it's hideous.


(In reference to a girl who walks the streets at night, I used 🤬 to replace the AUP word/idea thing. There's just not better way to say it, though.)

Really? What do you think of the Jaguar XJ220? To me, this car is the best of all good-looking cars, and yet I guess it could be described in the same way as you have described the R390. Maybe?

If you don't like that though, what do you think the Mercedes CLK-LM Race Car '98? I think it's the ugliest GT5 race car and one of the ugliest GT5 cars.

:drool: That's a beautiful car! the standard model in GT5 doesn't do it any justice.

This clown car is horrific.. possibly the worst in game. Ignoring those ridiculous Japanese SuperGT cars.

That's the Lexus SC430; the car that ruined the reputation of the SC400, which is a beloved favourite of mine. Therefore, I fully agree. Of course, my father likes the SC430 and doesn't like the SC400. :grumpy: I ACTUALLY have to live with this guy. :(

Apparently this derogatory term is fairly accepted in some countries. It as similar to the "N-word", yet somehow doesn't cause the same outrage. :/

I can confirm that the word is not acceptable to most Japanese people. It is considered a racial insult. This is due to the Allies' use of the term during WWII and the occupation of Japan--where the term was used derogatorily with the connotation that the Japanese were an inferior race.

Some younger Japanese people do use it amongst themselves, but from a non-Japanese person, even an Asian of a different nationality, it is very likely to cause offense. I would never use it.

EDIT: Back on topic. maddog999, I can't believe you like that Mercedes Benz CLK thing. For me, it's the sunken rear of the front that does it. The rest of the shape of the car also seems out of proportion with some edges tacked on to cap it off. Perhaps it's the idea (in my head) that a bulging front that sinks towards the windscreen can't be the best aerodynamic shape. I don't know. To each his own though.

Well I love them and find them beautiful. But of course its in the eye of the beholder, how else could this thread exist, if we would all agree on whats beautiful and whats ugly, we had a definite answer to the question from OP.

But one thing is for sure the Tigra is far from beeing "The Ugliest" car in GT5, theres just to many other cars to be considered ugly on that many people will easily agree.
