What version of GT5 are you getting?

If you're interested in the Apex book then buy the CE (collectors edition) as it is only $10AUD RRP more than the standard edition but includes the book (among other things) with it.

I know we've been waiting years already but just one extra day or two waiting for delivery would bug me if I could already be playing it if I had just gone down the shops to pick it up.

If you pre-order in store, you can pick it up the day of release like you would the regular version without fear they sold out (very common for special/collector editions if you don't pre-order).

But If you pre-order online then there is a risk it might ot be in your post on the day and if the release date is friday that means you wait until monday.
Of course I expect someone to enter and say they always get it a day early when they pre-order online but I have yet to get a game via the mail on the day they were supposed to yet, so there is no way I will pre-order a game like GT online personally.

For £10 more you can ditch the collectors and get 2 standards.

In Finland SE is 200€, CE is 80€ and standard is around 60€.

i have just discovered that on australian electronics company JB HI FI they have more details on the signature edition along with which free cars will be in the chrome and stealth packs.
from what i can see a special edition lamborghini Murcielago, Audi R8, BMW M5, SL300 "Gullwing" Mercedes & a special shelby cobra are in the "chromline pack while a Nissan GTR, A Mercedes SLS AMG (already confirmed), McLaren F1, Nissan R92CP, Honda NSX and some kind of LeMans top class Racer are getting the stealth treatment

Most of the cars you said are correct, but there is no there is no R92CP[sadly, but oh well], its an Audi R10 and a Mazda 787B, which i have corrected in the quote if thats ok [And that Mazda 787B is my main reason for getting the signature edition XD] but still its nice to know, and for those who didnt know about it earlier the link is nice to have,

I wouldn't say that the stealth cars are any reason to further justify the Signature Edition. In the UK, the Signature Edition is £90 more than the Collectors Edition. NINETY QUID! I'll I'm bothered about is the game and the cars. The Collectors Edition will get me the 5 ChromeLine cars, and I can either play the waiting game for the stealth cars to become free DLC in the future, or I can just pre-order three standard copies and then send them back after I get the codes.

As much as I try, I'm still struggling to justify 150 notes on a Signature Edition, although I acknowledge it is the most convenient way to get everything in one go.

Makes me look back over the good old days when you never really knew about games until they hit the shelves, and they came in any flavour as long as you were happy with plain!

Edit: BTW, this poll would have been much better if it just had the different versions of the game listed and the option to select more than one.

GTR is for the US/CAN only, independant to the Euro packages.

The local Gamestop here stamped a 169,90€ price tag on the SE
