Agree on the AE86. A well-balanced RWD car, much better to corner than the FWD on the list. With a little work on the engine, will be my best friend through many championships (I hope).

Looking forward for a Suiichi Shigeno version again (unless PD gets the wheel manufacturer license from Watanabe, so I can have some black 8-spokes and make my own personal tofu delivery car).

I know the AE86, meaning i know how it drives and I like it alot. Though I voted for the Renault R5. The damn car is so ugly, so french but I bet oh so hot to drive. I like hot hatches.

The little Eunos Roadster could be fun as well.

Other first cars would be a Lotus Elise of Mazda Miata. Depending on the values GT4 asigns to all of the above and if one could afford any of them starting the game.

I'd take the R5 Turbo it's a classic, it's quick and it looks good too.

Supercharged MK1 MR-2.

Surprisingly quick in stock form - good hp to weight ratio right off the bat - well designed MR platform - due to the motor being force inducted, upgrades should have a better overall hp/tq increase than the N/A cars - best bang for your buck potential.

If the R5 Turbo is that model with RWD, will be a great choice too...

Small, light, powerful and RWD = heaven

The Miata served me well as a starter in GT3, and it will also be in that role in GT4, but the supercharged MR2 is a tempting option.

I voted the SHO fer some reason..(power?!!)

would have voted fer 86 though

but aernt their alot of other cars to start of with?!!

oh btw ...how much would the start money be like?!!

Probably 10k so a few of thoes will not be affordable like the SHO and I bet they don't have and R5 Turbo's going cheap.

Hey! Where's the 1992 Honda Civic SiR II? That cars has been in the GT series since from the start.

Anyway, from that list I'll pick the AE86.

I'd go for the MR2, probably the fastest ride on this list. The miata was my starter in GT3 and it's a good one, but I like trying new things so that's why I chose the MR2.

But anyway i'll try to get all the gold licenses before doing anything else so I may end up starting with the Vanquish

See ya :sly:

I doubt that the old MR2 could beat the Maita, I'd still go for the R5.

It would be close between the MR2 and the Miata. The MR2 would have an edge on the straights, but the Miata would have an edge in handling, so it depends on which car would better suit your driving style. You can't go wrong with either car to start though.

i would have to go with the 86 also. But i would't mind something that is'nt on the list,a 1600 bluebird deluxe because i just love them and my brother has one. 👍

I'm taken the MR2, I used to have a beater MR2 that used to go about 96 top :) Anyway just want to bring back the good old days.

Nice list of cars to choose from. So, I would choose the Taurus SHO. But, the R5 and MR-2 are close second choices.

I know, this poll isn't right without it. 👎
I ended up picking the Euro-R cuz it's a nice touring car.

same here, in GT1&GT2 i started with the TT SUPRA, then in GT3 i started with PT CRUISER lol ;)

but i voted for the TAURUS SHO 👍

and modifi3d that is a hot S4 👍

if we are talking about speed and power, i will choose those turbo/supercharge car, since it's easy to increase their hp.

but from the past 3 series, i started with Civic EG6, Miata or AE86.
Both Miata and AE86 handles well, but can't compare with the power of VTEC

I've start GT with the old Supra, a black twin turbo; in GT 2 with the 32 Gts-t; in GT3 with a panda Trueno
and in GT4 i will start with a Panda :) (joking of course!)
I voted for tha Hachiroku (86), probably i will start with a Corolla/Levin version ... hope to find it black with white bumpers like in GT1.
Byez!

EDIT:
Or ... why not with a Abarth A112!! 👍
