I had so much fun doing these races with my Sambabus. Good move PD. Hopefully we get two more bonus races next week. Kinda upset that the Drift trials didn't update 👎

Fiat 500 F '68 fully modded with racing softs,88BHP,473kg,427PP
Not much room for error with the 500 due to the terrible acceleration from standstill,but a nimble little minx when upto speed.

Cape Ring : 1st place after a few attempts by 4.secs took lead about 3/4 of way round 4th lap

Laguna Seca : 1st place 1st attempt by 7secs.took lead near end of 2nd lap(though i have done many laps round Laguna in the 500).

Monza :3rd place after a couple of attempts by 7secs,1st is doable but gonna take me a few goes to get 3 really good laps.Almost took the lead 3/4 way round last lap but went a little to wide and touched the grass then the opposite wall trying to correct .

Tokyo : 1st after couple of attempts by 00.263secs,took lead just before last turn before final straight,had to do it a bit of blocking to maintain the lead.TBH i didn't think this one was gonna be winnable in the 500 .Love being wrong.

Eifel : 1st after remembering to adjust gear ratios by 14 secs very easy this one

Woo hoo after a fair few attempts
Monza : 1st place by 00.639secs was a real tough one

I do have a question though.The event calls for cars '69 and earlier.How come I cannot use the '69 C3 'Vette ?

Were the points too high? The races have a limit of 550PP, I believe. Running Tokyo I was up against the 'Vette, so the AI can use it. Not that that means much...

Oh hypocrisy, my day wouldn't be complete without it.

Well I WAS talking about how PD could very easily give us more races like these seasonal races with little effort, and was wondering why they don't. Then I got called "miserable" for my thoughts on the subject. No hypocrisy there- just defending from unprovoked insults.

I just bought about 15 pre '69 cars though, and with those combined with ones I had, it took 49 minutes to change the oil in the standard cars I intend to race with in these races.. (over and over again) That oil changing session should be able to be done in 20 seconds... I hope PD fix it so you can do multiple oil changes soon.

So you used the most powerful hypercar of the time, at the upper limit of performance that was allowed, yet somehow you expected some kind of challenge using it against the AI running Cosmos and other consumer cars...?

It was probably the Art Morrison Corvette you used, which is classed as a 2000 something car.

This car is awesome. Ok, it wins the seasonals easily but it's lively yet controllable and encourages ostentatious driving for great replays.

Well, it seems I've hit my limit. I don't seem to be able to win either Tokyo or Monza with the 2CV. And I've gone all out now with the parts and played around some with the settings, but no. No go. Right now, I don't even see how it's possible. If anyone can do it, hat off.

This race was very easy, I wish the AI had more powerful cars. I just used a Ford GT40 Race Car and removed the aftermarket turbocharger and set the power limiter to 75% (378 HP, 550 PP). I needed the XP boost though, it almost got me to 30.

Yeah, and I wish, a ´69 Boss302 Mustang is parked in front of my house. If you drive a Lemans race car agains family coupes and sports coupes in stock condition, you don´t need to wonder, why you are so fast.

Ever thought about to take one of the cars, which the opponents drive?

So far i used for these events the merc gullwing, camaro Z28, Jaguar E type and Alfa TZ2, all of them bone-stock.

Dont use the TZ2, is awesome but too fast. Best racing was in the mercedes because it wears C. Softs, i should try to downgrade the tires of the other two cars to match the competition too.

I used the Honda S800 RSC '68 on sports soft. Great challenge, slow on the straight but quick under braking and covering. Monza required a little defensive driving at the end. Eifel track was too easy even with 88bhp, but the other four races were competitive.

Not sure why anyone would look at this seasonal and think that they needed to use a Ford GT/Mustang/Cobra ...

Only done the first Cape Ring round so far. Used the Alfa GTA, tuned to 'Appendix-K' spec and running Comfort Softs. Makes for a decent challenge.

I did it first in a '69 Corvette and walked it, then I tried a lightly tuned GTA and it was great fun. The last track, Eifel kart, is brilliant in the Alfa.

I was on sports hards. I did end up getting the lead a bit early though, so Comfort softs would probably have been better.

You can still gift cars under a million to other accounts, but I had already switched a car between accounts yesterday, so my 1 a day had been used.

The opponents are not in stock condition Ron.
I drove a stock Ginetta G4, and the opponents G4 was just faster on the straights. I could draft what I wanted, but he was just faster..

But with a stock Ginetta G4 these races, (except Monza and Tokyo) are easy.. For Tokyo and Monza I used a stock Shelby GT350R.

Eifel Kart in the Ginetta was a blast and Cape Ring was a tight win.

You shouldn't need to tune it,it should win by a mile straight out the showroom.

Agreed, this is the most fun I've taken from a Seasonal to date.

I've managed to win at the 370PP mark with Monza always being the hardest for obvious reasons - just look at it's map!

Sure was! Without seasonals (and the Ginetta's well-timed arrival in the online dealership), I probably never would have driven the G4.

I used the VW beetle '49 at around 360pp, great fun.

I had fun with a slightly tuned Mazda 110S (L10B). Seeing that the the other 110S had over 180 hp, I figured I would try with 150 or so. That made it fun. She is a tail happy car, but a blast to drive.

I also used a bone stock Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Coupe. That made for some good racing too.

Tried the Ginetta G4, and Jaguar E-Type so far. Then Tokyo in reverse threw me for a loop so I used a Corvette I had (i think a '63?) to get through that one. So I'll go back to that one on a lower powered car later on.
